Amazing atmosphere! Friendly, helpful and caring staff. And fantastic food and drinks. Had lunch with my wife - we shared crunchy haloumi tacos to share for starters, and I had the beef burger for a main. My wife had the salt and pepper squid salad. Everything was amazing. Swell Brewing IPA for a drink or two, and a seat on the patio overlooking the river. What else could you ask for?
This place serves amazingly fresh seafood. The attendants are friendly and helpful. The tempura prawns were crisp, and succulent. The beer battered fish and chips as the name suggests was authentic, deep fried crispy deliciousness of sinful indulgence. The Ocean burger was filled with 2 freshly grilled fish fillets, avocados, lettuce and crispy French fries. The view from the restaurant is calming as you can see the river from the corner and the mesmerising sound of waves is relaxing as well. Definitely will be back, highly recommend!
Such a lovely find by the river. Food was excellent and reasonably priced - we were shocked at the large serving sizes considering the prices. They do a perfect iced coffee too!Food: 5/5
We had Christmas Eve lunch here. One of the best meals I had since arriving in Australia 6 years ago! The pork belly & prawn poke bowl is seriously the best! Please don’t remove this from the menu, I will definitely be back

Delicious breakfast overlooking the river seated on the lawn below the main dining room. Good menu, excellent service especially from Kylie Duffield who is really professional! Popular spot for locals and visitors alike. Sensible prices and easy parking. I recommend you visit, relax and enjoy!Food: 5/5

The white chocolate and citrus tart appeared as a cheesecake but still delicious. The young lady put out an extra table and chairs for us to sit by the river as all others were booked or taken.

Take an afternoon stroll along the river Murray in Goolwa and pop in to one of the best locals for a light meal at Bombora Goolwa. Run by amazing owners and the crew, friendly service and delicious food with the stunning views. Crab and fish cakes with pickled veg on special this week and it’s mouthwatering. Crispy on the outside with a soft juicy middle served on lightly pickled veg compliment each other perfectly! Finish off with an orange and almond cake with your coffee! Highly recommend.
