Replacing the old Bombay grill in late December 2018 the space is fresh though not very Indianish look at me making up new and Adobe words. The food is nice though most things seemed a little sweet to me. Complimentary poppadoms on arrival was a nice touch however. Dishes always look small in Indian restaurants but you never seem to go hungry and this is no exception.
I love BombayGrill it's my go to Indian place because it's consistently good. The sauces are thick, the meat and cheese servings in curries and naan are generous, and the flavors are always fantastic. At one point I was ordering here a 4-5 times a week . That's how good it is. I can't identify with any of the bad reviews y'all petty because these guys have been consistently great for years. Please never change Bombay Grill
Located on Norton street Leichhardt , Bombay Grill is a great spot for a quick & good value meal. I have been a regular customer of Bombay Grill for quite a long time now and one thing that I can say for sure is that they provide the authentic Indian taste that too at affordable price. If you want to try some good Indian food, then this is just the place for you!
Order took about an hour to get delivered and arrived cold, I had to reheat it in the microwave before eating. They refused to take responsibility for the food or driver, saying it was hot when it left the kitchen. The beef vindaloo was overly salty, to the point where it couldn't be consumed. The mango chicken was pleasant, but then it was mostly sauce with little chicken. Naan bread was hard and dry. Would not recommend this for Indian cuisine.
Great service, very fast to get orders out. Not the best Indian at any rate but it's still good! They have a great deal on 3 curries, 4 sides and a drink for 50 bucks or something. Winning! Would definitely go back if I needed good fast Indian!
If craving for Indian food this is the place to be. It’s on Norton street leichhardt . Had their food for twice. We ordered Naan & Curry combo, here we get a choice to choose two chicken curries and we get naan with it. They serve normal naan, but u can get their Garlic naan, which is just amazing. I really liked their butter chicken, and it was my fixed choice. We also tried their Chicken & Spinach Curry. Must Try.
Food here is tasty and reasonably priced. There is a good selection of meat and vegetable options. They will even prepare fresh nan breads where possible. I was a little put off by the cleaning practice we witnessed this one time. Unfortunately in this instance the same cloth was used on the floor and then the tables.
I have ordered quite often from this restaurant lately. The food quality taste, consistency and presentation has to be one of the best at a very reasonable price point. They also give a decent portion for most of the meals on offer. A must try, highly recommend.....
After moving to Brisbane and having a pathetic excuse for Indian food with over priced small portion sizes from Miss India, i remembered i used to regularly eat in at bombay grill in Leichhardt when i was in Sydney! I got a large plate depending on your definition of large, it is more like medium if you are a big eater and hungry with a full rice bed and 3 tasty flavoursome curries for only: $9, $10 or $11 depending on whether i ordered all veg, combo or all meat! Food temperature was hot, but not hot enough to burn my mouth which is ideal. Rarely needed more food and if i did, their samosas, naan and pappadums are pretty good size and good price! The vegetable korma curry as well as another vegetable curry has lots of variety of vegetables in it which is good if you want a multi vitamin boost to your meal. Most people take away or have delivered so it is never overcrowded to eat in. Young lady that serves at front seems very pleasant, polite and humble and is not overworked or rushed. Most of the time they notice you when you walk in, if not, just politely make yourself known! If people are getting their food delivered cold, i bet it is the delivery drivers from Uber eats taking different food from different restaurants and delivering them according to the most cost effective path, which could leave 1 of the first pick ups delivered at 1 of the last places and therefore cold food! Not restaurants fault! Suggestion: get off your arse and drive or walk there...and if you do get it delivered and cold, take a few measly minutes to heat up in microwave. Big deal...still mostly tastes as good! Your choice anyway, so deal with the consequences of you choice!
I get Indian food from here all the time, the butter chicken and tikka masala is so yummy, and they have big garlic nanns! so good, well priced. I've never had delivery just go in there myself and pick my dishes, very quick and easy. Customer service is friendly.
