A nice lookout spot to enjoy a beautiful view of the sea and beach. You can enjoy the view of waves hitting rocks. Down there is a nice natural swimming pool to enjoy. You need to look for low tide days, otherwise it is dangerous and not possible to enter the pool.
Impressive piece of local history! Beautiful scenery up and down the coast. Surrounding area's provide nice picnic spaces. Today was a beautiful clear & calm day, incoming tide ebbing to shore.....with you guessed it, crystal clear water.nIf you enjoy an ocean vista relatively close to amenities, your call.
The legendary Bogey Hole is perfect for pre sawn swims when it is mostly deserted and serene.nSunrise is sublime on clear mornings.nDolphins can sometimes bee seen riding waves as they approach the shore.nYou are generally safe even if waves are spilling into the pool but this is very much a enter at own rksk situation and you should avoid on days of large swell at high tide.
Really cool spot to visit but not on an extremely windy day! Although it was amazing watching the waves break on the rocks and seeing water splash up to nearly touch you, wouldn’t dare risk swimming in those conditions. But a beautiful walk and view. Highly recommend to check out it in Newcastle!
