A hidden gem and a nice place to visit. Its recommended to be a bit careful if you are getting down close to the water. But its a wonder and a nice experience visiting here
It's about a 5 min walk down from where you can park. There are some submerged rocks in the pool that you could stub a toe on, but otherwise its a good spot to go for a dip. There are no shower towers or facilities in the immediate vicinity.
Cool rock pool, water is a bit warmer than in the ocean, however it can be pretty dangerous place due to waves so hold children climb on the rocks
This place is secluded area. A bit slippery surface due to moss and algae. Not many space to put your stuff and relax, because it is a small space somekind like rockpool. Can find this place on the way from Newcastle beach to Merewether Beach within Memorial Coastal Walk.
Fabulous spot. Quite a few stairs down but that's what makes it special. Perched on the edge overlooking the ocean, its just a lovely place to swim
Amazing place. A must visit if you are touring New Castle. Highly recommend for people who like to swim
Great spot for a swim at high tide or mid-tide if there's a swell
A beautiful spot at the bottom of a cliff. Hard to believe that the convicts made it by hand so long ago. It can get very rough at times but so worth a visit!
