$95 minus Medicare rebate for a full body skin check that lasted less than 5 minutes and told I need two removed so a trip back to have a mole removed at $220 minus Medicare rebate of $85 it took the Dr about 10 minutes to complete, I asked if I could get both done while I was there and the Doctor told me Medicare will only cover one at a time I was phoned by receptionists 3 times attempting to rebook that appointment and can’t help but feel the rushed removal was to get to whatever it was the doctor had been trying to move my appointment for. I booked another appointment to have stitches removed and get second mole cut out only to be phoned yet again and told I’d need to go to my GP to have stitches removed and find another time to have the second one removed. I work 5 days a week until 4pm the opening hours on the website say until 5pm yet any appointments after 4 seem to be to much of an inconvenience. I won’t be back.
How thorough can a full body skin check be that lasts less than 5 minutes?!! At $95.00 thats a pretty impressive hourly rate. One can't help but feel Medicare and the customer is being totally ripped off! I wont be back!
