First time here, and the reviews are true. The food is absolutely delicious, compliments to the chefs.‍ The staff are friendly and accommodating. Good service The venue has a relaxing atmosphere, and the view on the lake is breathtaking, Overall, my wife and I had a wonderful experience. Will recommend and will definitely come back. Thank you
Great food at a great location! We ordered 2 main dishes and 2 desserts. The price is reasonable for a nice dining experience and good portion. The salmon with noodles was beautiful with the balance of sweet , sour and savoury taste. The Lamb shank Massaman curry was also well done with the meat just fall off the bone and well seasoned. The meringue is nice and chewy. The chocolate cake is delicious but maybe because it’s flourless, it’s quite dense to my personal liking and I need to have the cake with the ice cream with every bite or it’s just hard to swallow.
BEAUTIFUL place, right on the water and tastefully decorated inside. Food is very good. My aunt and I really enjoyed our lunch at this place, our waitress was lovely. the only negative is that the service is a bit slow and for long stretches of time she was not in sight for us to wave and get her to come to us.
We had the table right next to the lake, the view is honestly breathtaking and I couldn’t ask for anything more. Yet they still surprised us with exceptional food. The pasta was one of the best out of everything we ordered, definitely give it a try
We really enjoyed our night at the Boat Shed, we had a lovely waitress named - Ivy. I would highly recommend the Boatshed not only for the delious fresh food, but also the atmosphere on our lake and great hospitality.
Staff was lovely and location is great. Food was good but lacked a bit of seasoning and crispy pork belly didn't contain a lot of meat despite the generous serve. Aioli with fries was really good.
Location is excellent but nearby parking is limited. The food was good but nothing out of the ordinary. Staff needs better training with regards to customer service. Interaction with the younger staff member were great but the one from the older ones felt forced and unfriendly. It seemed as if they had difficulty talking in a pleasant manner. The only thing that saved the day was the dessert .
I’m hooked. Awesome staff. Great ambience and food never disappoints. Love the place. Did I mention, the amazing location.
Great food and friendly staff with excellent level of service. Amazing views of Lake Wendouree. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back for the Boat shed Big Breakie !
I love the views of the lake and the pork belly! A favourite place for me to go in Ballarat. Took friends last week and everyone loved their meals.
