Amazing! Best pizza I've had in Adelaide! Great service too! It truly shows that the owners put effort into making quality pizza with great ingredients! Even the pizza crust taste good! Can definitely recommend this restaurant. They have a good range of desserts, tea and coffee too. Thoroughly enjoyed the pizza!
Celebrate birthday with friends together today. We booked the high tea at the Blue Velvet. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. We have a good combination of food, desserts, coffee & tea. Tiramisu & Affogato are so so delicious. Highly recommended!Recommended dishesDesserts, Tiramisu Cake
Vibrant and cozy restaurant serving a variety of pizzas and desserts. Pizzas are oval, large sized with generous toppings perfect for sharing. The dough is soft and chewy and digests pretty fast. Felt full quickly but got hungry quickly too. The flavours were very subtle, and taste healthy. They weren't oily. Best flavour was the salami and olives, smoked salmon.. Mushroom made the pizza really wet. Too much moisture from the mushrooms. Flavour was not bad. Could add a little bit more salt to all the dishes. Croquettes were crunchy and decent sized. But could also use a bit more salt. Pizza fritta was not bad. Need to serve the pizzas with a pizza cutter, had trouble cutting up the pizzas with our knives. Cakes look good, hope to try those someday!

We went here today, before going to see Hans at the Thebby brilliant show BTW. We enjoyed the food, staff were great, atmosphere cool, dessert yummy. Loved the table water too. My only wish was that we could have tried the gnocchi but alas, we were a day early. Will return for sure on a gnocchi day
I celebrated my baby shower here, and I cannot recommend Blue Velvet Artisan Pizza & Pastry enough The high tea was absolutely delicious with everything so authentic & handmade, the variety of teas available were beyond amazing and just the overall atmosphere made the entire experience so enjoyable. Thank you so much again to the accomodating and kind staff, we all had a wonderful time and will definitely be back
Fabulous authentic Italian experience. Super friendly staff, amazing pizzas and calzone. Such a surprise. So good. Congratulations, we'll be back for more! P.S. Pizzas were quite a bit bigger than expected so do a check with staff.
Incredibly delicious pizza. The base is to die for and toppings are generous. Wait time very high - 40 minutes for entrees while they seemingly prioritised Uber/delivery orders. Service non existent and couldn't get their attention the entire time we waited. Great pizza but don't expect much by way of service.
A meal at Blue Velvet restaurant is a real treat! Friends recommended it to me twice so I had to taste and see it for myself - now it is in my top 10 Adelaide restaurants. Blue Velvet has real character and ambiance many modern and trendy restaurants are struggling to create. There were so many aspects of the restaurant I enjoyed! Top service - of course, fresh, delicious & quality food, beautiful decor and an inviting ambiance. The open kitchen can be seen toward the back as you walk in with many eye catching dessert displays near the front. Oh and they even have a full, separate dessert menu and a tea sommelier for tea lovers too! Dining at Blue Velvet was one of my favourite dining experiences hands down in 2020 and 2021! I can’t wait to go back and also bring visitors with me there too! Thank you Blue Velvet for a wonderful night!
Nice local restaurant. The staff were friendly and there was a nice atmosphere. The pizzas were really nice; not too heavy or oily. So glad we tried out some desserts too. The Torta Mozart was delicious, as was the Apple Crumble. Overall, a nice spot for dinner.
