Pretty decent wine list! As well as a well designed casual food menu. Not your average local pub. Much more taste and way better curated. The “Wine bar” label suits them well. The girl that was servicing the terrace did also a great job Visited on Friday 13th of Jan, 7pm.
May be pricey for some, but worth it! Perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. My partner and I went here for our anniversary and it was beyond amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive, atmosphere was relaxed and food was phenomenal. We shared a bottle of wine and our glass was continually topped by our waiter. Food was delicious and evenly spaced out. For some, the prices may be a little expensive, but I think the quality of the food is worth it.
Love this place. Great food. Big servings, so be aware... next time I’ll definitely order as I go... Fantastic service and a great setting. The staff are awesome! Great selection of beer and wine. Nice garden out the back, and also good seating out the front. Popped a jandle here too! And everyone pooled together to try and fix it. Buuuut. To no avail. Barefoot and red faced on the way home!
I haven’t been here for some time and I like the renovation. Always a great place for a quick meeting or catch up with friends. A great snack menu and more substantial options - love the croquets. The wine choices are limited for a wine bar. Plenty of seat outside and in. Worth a try.
Beautiful Place for a Friday steak lunch and a glass or two? or lovely wine. Went recently and even though it was cold and wet outside the indoor ambiance was nice nad warm. Nick and the team provide faultless service. Best bar in Elwood.

This would be one of our favourite spots to eat. Every time we had a meal, it was on point. Such lovely atmosphere and vibes including service which is outstanding. Highly recommended 5 Stars
Not sure why this place has such a high rating. I've been here a couple of times as my sister lives in Elwood and it's often the only place open so they all come here. But the service is always rude, curt and a bit...abrupt. The cocktails are ... Okay but not great.
Good vibe, friendly staff. Place ia clean and tidy with in and outside seating with an additional outside covered space for a more intimate experience. Moderately priced.
Always a great experience at Blue Tongue. Best bar in Elwood. Friendly attentive service and atmosphere! Love the outdoor dining made comfortable for all seasons.
