A wonderful resource for rewilding your garden to support the health of surrounding bushland and the native animals and birds who live in it. A lovely place to visit and talk to passionate volunteers.
The best species selection at the most reasonable prices anywhere in greater Sydney, with knowledgeable volunteers. Apparently started as a botanic parallel by the lady who created WIRES Wildlife Rescue. Brilliant and motivating... a jewel of can-do positivity in the otherwise ceaseless tide of iterative environmental destruction.
Such a lovely selection of native plants. Every time i return I discover something new. The volunteers are very knowledgeable and helpful.
A fantastic selection of healthy tubestock, almost all of which is native to the Blue Mountains Region if it’s from elsewhere, it will be clearly labelled as such. They don’t just sell the commonly grown ones, but also some really rare species that I’ve never seen cultivated anywhere else.nnThe volunteers are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. If you live in the mountains or even elsewhere in greater Sydney, they can help you find plants that occur naturally in your area or that meet your needs.nnWhile most plants are propagated, a small selection are rescues, meaning they were salvaged from some form of development that would have killed them. This means you can get your hands on species that might be next to impossible to cultivate. Plus they return a lot of the rescued plants to the original site so you’re helping conservation too.nnThey also have larger pots available of some species.
