A marvellous bushwalk that I should not have done in winter nTime spent: 90 min incompletenLength: 2.15 kmnElevation: 65 m up, 162 m down.nContains: Eucalyptus forests, sandstone ridge tops.nnWear long pants, as leeches may come!
It’s a lovely walk amidst the city. It has beautiful creeks, water fall, fish pond, water pool, natural fauna and you may spot some amazing wildlife too.nnWe started from Ginger Meggs and completed the loop in 2 hours.nWe completed the loop in
Its a good grade 3 hike. Easy for people who are experienced hiker but hard for children also for people with mobility issues as you have to cross a creek and climb a bit of big rock boulders. Overall experience for me and my friends were great! We like hiking so we had fun!
Beautiful bushwalking with quiet environment away from all the buildings and coty noises.nnGreat time with your kids talking while walking.nnJust beware of little blood sucking worm. They are just everywhere near fallen leaves and quick enough to climb up to your shoes and attach to your ankle and gives you chill.
We went into the wrong entrance and we started near the quarry. The entrance should be near the Rosemed picnic area everyone but we enjoyed it throughout, beautiful scenery. Some of the track will be a little difficult to get over but I think it still suitable for families with kids around 5 and above. However watch your heart as this track will require climbing up many staircase and the track can be flooded with water after a rain.
