This place is great! Has a very decent selection of Mexican authentic and inspired dishes, as well as the service and fit out are nice and spacious. It gets busy and for good reason. The selection of meats are all tasty and staff are lovely also. Location wise parking can be a little tricky but don't let that detur you. It also has a nice little collection of hot sauces for sale / try which is a fantastic little peice of information alot of reviewers miss. Overall a solid 4 out of five stars makes this place a deffinet recommend! And look forward to out next visit and introducing it to our friends.
Really friendly and attentive staff : Food delicious! We had the Thursday night burrito and nachoes. The nachoes were a good size portion, quite large! Burrito was tasty. Ordered churros for dessert to share between two, however they were quite a small portion and were hard and not soft at all. Forgot to take a photo of these but they were 6 churros pieces and about 7cm long each and not very thick which might be why they were too hard. Overall really great staff and service, tasty dishes and drinks, a shame the churros did not taste good.
The place is beautifully designed and decorated. When you walk in you can feel the great and friendly atmosphere instantaneously. The staff are helpful and always have a smile and cater to every need/want. The place is kid friendly, they have highchairs available too. Atmosphere is not your typical loud music-people talking over eachother- kid crying kinda restaurant. Its very chilled out and relaxing. Reasonably priced menu and worth it. I think they use authentic imported mexican ingredients too so The food here, simply put- is amazing! We enjoyed every last bite. The servings are generous, the menu is well planned and the execution of the meals are beautiful and well thought out. From the cheesy appetizer photo says it all, the little bag is what our tortillas were in, kept them soft and warm. The mains were big and super tasty. -pulled beef nachos were so bloody tasty, and worth every last bite. Perfect size portions and the flavours were great. -ribs and wing combo was amazeballs. Id suggest, if you have appetizers, than to share the ribs and wing combo. The serving is big and sooo tasty! Use your fingers for these its totally worth licking your fingers for We shared a fried oreo for dessert and this was beautiful! Served with vanilla ice cream and strawberry, this was the best ending to a great dinner. Not too heavy or sweet, perfectly combined with ice cream we loved this alot. I had the margarita of the month- frozen watermelon margarita and it was yum! Not an overwhelming watermelon taste but a great combination of flavours. Definitely worth a try! Blue Agave will definitely be a regular for us from now on. Highly suggest this restaurant.
Great food. Its not a cheap night out but the staff are friendly and attentive.
Was ok...but more Mexican food court than Restaurant.. Had a Margarita which was good...and the Mexican burger which was sort of a burger in a wrap wasn't anything special...the meat was def in need of marinating as it was bland..had the sponge cake for Dessert..was ok..nothing anyone couldn't make at home.. it's an ok place but I'm sure there are way better Mexican places in Sydney..I'm sure Mexicans don't just eat Burritos and Nachos...must be more to it...Customer service is awesome and the peeps that work there are very nice and friendly..it's more the white interpretation of a Mexican eatery I guess...Gringos are loco with their bland palates...
Great food and atmosphere. Very enjoyable place for a night out
Good food but it took 1 hour for the main to come out. Very slow service
First time at this restaurant. Nice atmosphere and tasty food. I had nachos and then steak taco. The steak had some gristle/cartilage which made the meal less enjoyable. The service was nice and I will certainly be back to try the dessert nachos.
Update 2020 Visited here for dinner once again, food is of good quality but would say it is overpriced. $12 for 2 jalapeno poppers. Unfortunately the venue suffers from the same lack of speed and service you would expect from the prices being asked. Ordered food and drinks, a beer and a cocktail both which were not delivered for about 20mins until we had to ask for table water. Entree was about 10mins after that followed by another 30min wait in an almost empty venue by that time. You could see the disbelief and frustration from other diners about where their food was. The wait staff looked like they were also under pressure as the kitchen cannot keep up with the orders. Perhaps another chef guys???? Overall food is great but not worth waiting for. It would be just as quick to train to the city eat and return home, would probably cost less too. Won't be back unfortunately. 2017 Had dinner here last night. Drinks selection is good offering plenty of Mexican beers and spirits. Food is generally well priced. Table service was quick however the food was very slow to arrive. The table next to us came 20mins after us and for their food arrived before ours. Would be happy to try this place again.
Came here last night for an xmas dinner with girlfriends. Ordered a chicken Fajita and beef nachos. The taste of both was very bland. Felt like something missing. We have had Mexican many times at other reputable restaurants and this had to be one of the worst in terms of taste. We had a few bites and were turned off by the taste. Our meal was pretty much untouched. We really didn’t enjoy our meal and raised concern with the supervisor on duty and she basically had a too bad so sad approach. We left the restaurant hungry and out of pocket by $80 for those two meals including drinks.
