Struggling to give this more than two stars, let me explain. First things first, lovely venue. Me and my partner both chose the potato rosti, which you can see from the photo is aesthetically pleasing - however that’s where it stops unfortunately! 🙁 The hollandaise sauce was a vinegary mess, and when we challenged the waitress regarding the extremely bland potato, there was an awkward moment and nothing actually eventuated from it. Pretty disappointing experience for a fundamental mistake.

If you like great coffee, but served with a side of bad service, and are willing to wait 20 minutes before getting it, then this is the place for you. A cafe can’t be this pretentious if they can’t back it up.

A 5 star rating! Lovely venue. Walked in the doors to escape the horrible weather that Melbourne bought down on us. Hit in the face with the scent of smooth brilliant coffee & greeted by big smiles from a vibing front of house crew... was offered a menu which was full of thought out and tasteful meal choices! Picking the potato rosti... I was served a masterpiece on a plate. Stacked high and mighty layered with bacon, avocado a perfect poached egg finally with a thick coating of creamy hollandaise. The hollandaise sauce had a light citrus hint which balanced with crispy potato rosti packed with flavour. Brunch is Melb living... this buzzing place is definitely worth try!

Nobody greeted us to seat us, and with so many entrances to the store/cafe we wandered for a while clearly like the ng for assistance. In the end we just went to the counter and ordered. Seemed to annoy the woman serving so I'm guessing that's not how it's usually done. Waited ages for our coffee to come out, then even longer for the food. Big breakfast and pancakes. Both could have been smaller portion sizes for less expense. The pancakes had too much sweet on the plate, only thing that wasn't just sweet on the plate was strawberrys. Big breakfast was ok, but not great.
