Update: I went back a big month after my feedback and I was really pleased with how it was taken in consideration. I was super happy with my session and finally felt it was back like in the old days. Hopefully they keep this kind of route setting in the future!nn3 stars: This place used to be my go to place with my friends because the problems were nice with good variety and adapted to my level. However it has changed quite a lot, I find it far less accessible for true beginners and far less accessible for beginner/ intermediate levels. My friends and I used to have a blast on the purples but now the level feels way harder while reds feels quite too low. I also introduced a new friend to bouldering and she finds the blue to be too challenging compared to some other places we have been to. I also feel the gym is deteriorating over time with some hold being quite slippery due to being worn out/dirty which makes it more fearful for someone like me who tends to be afraid of a foot slip that would lead to an injury. Overall quite disappointed how it has evolved, it would be nice to go back to more accessible problems. I am not putting down a 3 star review for the staff and atmosphere as it has always been nice but the climbing experience is clearly not as enjoyable as before. Hopefully this feedback may help and maybe I could be explained why the gym changed so much. The review is not just based on my personal experience but also my friends too.
Spacious place to boulder, will never get bored with the amount of routes it has.nnThey provide free liquid chalk to use!nnGot basic weight equipment and pingpong table as well
This place is amazing. Huge wall area with many different grades and the walls are frequently updated. There’s also good options for kids. So glad I live near by.nnThey also have good 2 week intro deals with shoe hire included. Looking forward to being a frequent visitor and upskilling.
Such an awesome place to boulder. Sensational selection of climbs of all difficulties and enjoyment levels. Routes are changed regularly by experienced climbers. Snacks and coffee available when required. Affordable rates for ongoing members, and quality shoes for newcomers.
Absolutely brilliant climbing gym with lots of problems and caters for both kids and adults. Space for kids parties, has parking available and overall it’s a huge gym with lots of areas to test your bouldering skills. When I went they had a couples climb which was always good since bouldering is usually done alone. Staff are friendly and it’s overall a very pleasant environment.
