I have been a patron for many years now and I always appreciated how helpful staff are. For example: I am not a technological wizard...and don't know how to do stuff on line. Every time I call and ask for assistance like extending borrowed items manually - I am always supported well and nobody ever made me feel stupid for not knowing/liking on-line stuff...nI really appreciate this and everyone is simply lovely and super helpful!!! Well done Blackwood Library, you created an amazing and very friendly place for the Hills residents to use and enjoy. I hope you all have an amazing year. Ania Rustecka
The library atmosphere is conducive to a pleasant reading experience. It provides ample power outlets for charging electronic devices.
Smaller than most libraries, but feels a lot friendly. Some are so big they feel cavernous. Blackwood Library feel homely. Not too loud that you can concentrate, but not so quiet you feel like you'll get shot if you breath loudly. A lot of people say it's outdated. But who cares honestly, it's lovely the way it is
