Great book shop. Huge selection of second hand books. Friendly staff. Books piled up everywhere and old couches randomly placed throughout adds to the charm of this place. Have found some great text books for uni at very decent prices. If the sold coffee I could easily lose half a day here
Wasn't organised at allBooks scattered on the ground, books out of reach. There was a lack of signs around the shop to show what books were on the shelves catogories and it felt very missmatched. Staff didn't great us on arrival or ask if we needed help while we attempted to look around.
BB was one of my favorite secondhand book stores, but they have made a complete mess of it recently by rearranging it by half and the young guy and now young girl who work there are not motivated to get it organised! Very frustrating! I hope they get it done soon with not too many more walk outs.
An Aladin's cave of Literary Gems! Could spend a lifetime in this beautiful bookshop. I found books from childhood that I couldn't find anywhere else. Such kind and helpful staff. Thank you for providing this to us dear Sarah. It has free'd my imagination from its bottle.
THE BEST second-hand bookshop I have EVER experienced! Visited lots over the decades, this IS the best - if you love books, do yourself a favour and check it out. Be warned though.... it's literally like the TARDIS, be prepared to spend a good 1/2-1 hour browsing.
Fantastic old book shop, not too pokey inside and an amazing selection of books at good prices. Highly recommend.
