Story

Welcome to Blackheath Golf Club where you can play on one of the most picturesque golf courses in NSW located in the heart of the world heritage-listed Blue Mountains.

Blackheath is the Blue Mountains’ rhododendron village. Our course is lined with these colourful flowering trees along with maples, blossoms, azaleas and other botanical treasures that flourish in our special part of the Mountains. Our parkland-like setting abounds with many native birds and ducks that thrive on our course and waterways.

The clubhouse is the place to enjoy genuine Mountains hospitality with a restaurant, bar, billiard room and barbecue, catering for all occasions including corporate golf days, weddings and other social events. Our clubhouse is also a great place to relax with friends and family no matter the occasion or time of year.

Come to Blackheath Golf Club and enjoy a game of golf, dinner in our restaurant or simply have a relaxing drink on our deck overlooking the course.Golf clubs affiliated with the Blue Mountains District Golf Association will allow members of each club preferential rates for social play and charge members' competition rate for entry to club competitions.

Saturday night dinner and the live music was a nice touch.nOrdered dinner and the service was pleasant. Self serve condiments and picked table of choice in a small designated area or out in the main area. Better view in the main area.nPork cutlet was cooked perfectly! Just right.nThe ragu was a miss. Pasta was overcooked and not a lot of ragu.
October 2024nLunch at the Golf club was very nice, also the service. Everyone was happy with the quality of the food and drinks nThe club is in need of some renovations I believe.
Above all, it is worthy of five stars for a golf course built by preserving nature without cutting any part of it.nnThe layout of every hole was unique and impressive, and I felt like I was one with nature while playing.nnA place where nothing bothers my ears except the sound of birds.nnDuck droppings occasionally bothered us on the green, but it was nothing compared to the joy I was enjoying.nnIf you want to enjoy a day completely at one with nature, visit this place.
Very cool course hidden in the Blue Mountains. Excellent care taken by the Greenkeepers. Relatively flat to walk. Every hole is scenic and memorable flanked by big alpine trees, wildlife, and cool looking mushrooms. A few water hazards, and sloping greens. A treat to play at!
Lovely golf course in generally good condition. In April '23 there was quite a bit of capital works going on which is great to see but the course is not as appealing as it could be. The whole course was good and interesting with the back 9 being a step up in course architecture. Standout hole is the 18th with a blind uphill tee shot with 80m water carry, the green is elevated with bunkers?, a great finishing hole. The staff in the pro shop were friendly and very helpful. I can't wait to come back.
