A quick weekend getaway, only 2 hours drive from Brisbane. The showgrounds were easy to find, small group booking was easy. There was plenty of space to spread out. We had a fire pit so a lovely campfire was allowed. Yes, close to the road, but also close to the small township. Very enjoyable weekend. Hope to visit again.
Lovely camp grounds. Some of the cleanest facilities I have ever seen. Was quiet so we had a nice time. Lots of baby frogs around when it rains. Also right by the town and the railway trail
Excellent spot to camp, lots of room. $25 very good price for 2.nBakery and cafe easy walk to town.
Went for a weekend trip and stayed 2 nights. Grounds are excellent, amenities clean and plenty of hot water. The caretaker, Steve, was very hospitable and helpful. We will definitely be back.
Terrific Showgrounds walking distance to town shops, Information Centre, Hardware, Pub and Sports Centre with CHINESE RESTAURANT AND CAFE.nnLovely clean and powerful Hot showers ~n3 Large with a shelf in each and lots of hooks on backs of doors.nn3 big clean toilets.nnBig morror and 3 basins.nnThe Caretaker is lovely and open to have you near amenities if you have medical issues poor knees, hips, bladder etc.nnWe booked ahead via email and confirmed by caretake before arriving for a Powered/water site.n$10 p/p per night.n{$ 8 ~ Unpowered }nnIdeal for us right where we were.nnBusy Showgrounds but lots of room.
