A quick weekend getaway, only 2 hours drive from Brisbane. The showgrounds were easy to find, small group booking was easy. There was plenty of space to spread out. We had a fire pit so a lovely campfire was allowed. Yes, close to the road, but also close to the small township. Very enjoyable weekend. Hope to visit again.
The showground areas are kept neat and tidy, and the amenities are cleaner than other areas. Showers are hot and the town centre is two blocks away.nLiterally located on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, it's the best place in the Sth Burnett to spend a couple of weeksnThe caretakers are a good mob and assist you if they can. Eftpos is onsite with an ATM down the street.nPET FRIENDLY and the serenity of the area made me decide to have my 60th Birthday BBQ. Loved it.nCome see for yourself.nThere is also a Mobile Auto Electrician and Mobile Mechanic available in the area, on call 7 days.
Lovely camp grounds. Some of the cleanest facilities I have ever seen. Was quiet so we had a nice time. Lots of baby frogs around when it rains. Also right by the town and the railway trail
Went for a weekend trip and stayed 2 nights. Grounds are excellent, amenities clean and plenty of hot water. The caretaker, Steve, was very hospitable and helpful. We will definitely be back.
Great place to stay. Easy walk to town. Clean facilities. Friendly Caretakers.
