Love Dr Lorna. She's caring and thorough. Blackbutt Medical Centre can sometimes get a little bogged down in over time but for the most part they are a caring team who only want what's best for their patients and practice.
Absolutely horrible experience at this doctors. Waited over an hour to see the doctor who showed no care for my health at all. Was extremely rude to me and not helpful at all. I was so upset and still am after seeing that so called Dr! He left me sitting there while looking through my history with the most uncaring attitude to make the consultation longer than it needed to be!nSeems like they only care about your money! And being medically retired and on a pension for 14 yrs I was and still feel taken for a ride! $145 and no help!!! Disgusting!
First Doctor I could get an appointment in the 3 years since moving to rural QLD. Arrived 10 minutes before appointment and 50 minutes after appointment time received a phone call went to message bank as was on silent mode from the centre I was in questioning whether I was going to attend the appointment and notifying me of the cancellation fee. I then went back to the reception desk to mention the call had not listened to the message at this point and they said not to worry about the message and my appointment would be soon - my guess was that I had slipped through the cracks and had I not gone back to the desk would have still been sitting there. Eventually just over an hour after the appointed time I saw the Doctor. I assume this was just a simple error given the number of patients coming and going in this very busy practise. I arrived 1.5 hours late for my other appointment elsewhere that afternoon.
I am very happy with the doctor I visited yesterday. I feel like she listened to me rather than just trying to get patients in and out like some clinics do. The doctor was very polite, professional and most importantly thorough. Thank you for your care.
The doctor is very informative and friendly and the staff at reception are very friendly and well mannered , fantastic service
