Attended our gym Christmas party at the Blackburn Bowls club.  We had a pre paid tab, so not sure of the alcohol pricing.  Our party was confined to the synthetic greens, which was fine.  The club supplied us with a staff member at the bar and another to assist with the bowling activities.  It was assumed we knew what we were doing, but we're quickly informed if we were doing something wrong.  There was also a number of fun little games coordinated for us.  I would recommend this place for large group parties.  They also provide a BBQ area for self catering.
