Lovely walk with some great views. Dogs are required on leash for the most part and its beautiful place to go running. There's a small hut for picnics and benches along the way. There's a few rock pools to explore when the tide is out and plenty bird wildlife on the offshore rocks. A great place for a morning stroll.
It's a relatively narrow beach shielded by the vegetated bluff. The water off the beach is deep and the sand it quite coarse. I wouldn't recommend it for families with kids. It's also not ideal to be barefoot due to all the rocks in the beach. There are certainly better beaches in Melbourne. It's nice to go for a stroll along the coastal trail though.
Beautiful stroll with breathtaking vistas. Most of the time, dogs must be kept on leashes, and it's a lovely area to run. Benches and a tiny picnic house are located along the route. When the tide is out, there are a few rock pools to explore and a variety of bird species on the offshore rocks.
The tide was low the afternoon I went and you could see the clear water and the beautiful horizon. The conditions were ideal for paddle boarding and kayaking. There is a lovely playground nearby and yummy gelato shops.
Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, sandals or walk barefooted on the sand.nBlack rock cliff is good.
