Love this cafe! Every time we visit every person working is super friendly and welcoming. They always go above and beyond especially when we have our little girls with us. It's so nice to have a local place that welcomes families and has great coffee.
Don’t have fresh food for breakfast, all they have are leftovers from last night in the fridge. No price labeled on the food. Charge a soy latte for $4.30. Don’t accept card for a minimum amount as their “policy”. The owner saw I asked the waitress if they had any breakfast combo which they don’t , and to pay by card which she cannot do , to which he chose to ignore the situation, did nothing but standing there like a status, and left the poor girl hang and dry. “Nice service”!
This place was good but has gone downhill. Someone, who I suspect is the owner, is often times rude. One time I was there with a big group of my family and the staff accused my polite mouse like niece, who weighs all of 40kg, of breaking their chair by daintily sitting on it. Correct response would have been to ask if she was ok, and apologise for risking her life on their shoddy chair, etc. Very last time I went there, the suspected owner, was pacing up and down the cafe speaking VERY loudly on his mobile. I am sure he would have complained of any of his customers doing the same. So anyway, I decided from then that there are many better options in Turramurra. Old Review ------------------ Regularly go here. Food is a little better than most places. Prices are bearable.
Got a bacon and egg roll and coffee which came to $16. Coffee was decent and bacon and roll was good but very standard for the price. Senior staff member was quite arrogant. Would choose somewhere different if in the area again.
All three experiences here with my children have been unfortunately disappointing. The gentleman is very accommodating of mums with prams getting in the door, but it seems kids aren't appreciated once inside. It's not surprising they closed the kids play area at the back; that was a massive draw card for parents. Such a shame. There are no prices labeled on the cakes so the bill is always a surprise as it's so expensive. We won't be returning.
Had lunch at Black Mocha today and ordered the BLT. I use to remove the top bread of the toast, but this toast was soaked in melted cheese, just like a separate appetizers! With the melted cheese, egg, salat and everything I think this is the best BLT ever. I also had a interesting talk with the owner that is from Europe. Both he and the other staff made the visit a very pleasant.
Fantastic café perfect for breakfast or lunch. Food is made from scratch and super fresh and delicious. Coffee is the best I have had in Sydney. Don't miss this little gem!
Expensive as it is, and they charge extra for sauce, or any condiments... and they charged us $2 for sharing a plate, even though we were a table of 6, i mean who does this?? A rip off!
Friendly cafe with a homely feel. Small range of simple freshly prepared dishes. Good coffee.
Loved smoked salmon sandwich amazing taste and so filling get it in sourdough bread tastes awesome.
