Delicious and authentic Thai food. Restaurant is super cute and clean. Staff is nice, really nothing bad to say about this place we tried the pad Thai and nasi goreng and both were great! Recommend!
So happy to find this little restaurant in North Hobart. On a chilly autumn evening a group of us headed to Bite Me for a meal. It was a fairly busy night with several tables already seated. The service was a little slow as they were busy but the staff were very friendly. After ordering our meals, the food arrived hot and fresh. What a delicious meal it turned out to be. Having travelled through Asia extensively & enjoying great food, I was delighted with the Signature Chicken Curry. A serving of jasmine rice & a small spring onion pancake complimented my main meal. Other dishes ordered by the group included a stir fry chicken & cashews, Thai Green Curry, Thai fish cakes, & a seafood stir fry in a satay sauce. Delicious nWill definitely be visiting again.
Looked them up online to find somewhere to have laksa while in town. The service was awesome and the food was amazing. Note that as a white guy the laksa is 'white people hot'. I liked it but may be slightly too much for others looking for something more mild.nThe pork belly was also great and the yuzu citrus was refreshing.
Crispy Pork belly bites and chicken skewer as entree and for dinner beef laska was really yummy and amazing flavor, service was great
The food quality was disappointing. The Pad Thai was overcooked, which affected the texture and flavor, and the Pork Bao had a very thin slice of filling, making it less satisfying. I’ve had pad thai many times in my life, but I’ve never tried this “smoky” flavor—it’s definitely something unique!nnRegarding the pork bun, apologies for not bringing the measurements with me, but I believe anyone who walks into the restaurant and sees the poster or menu photo would understand the difference. I do understand that inflation impacts local businesses, and I’m happy to support. However, I thought the $10 price already included everything.
