Story

A simple, rustic and honest European Bistrot with an open plan kitchen and eating at the 'zinc' counter.
French inspired meals and Bistrot style dishes at an unbeatable value.
A selection of very affordable wines local and imported will be part of the décor like 'une cave a vin'.
A little slice of Paris in the heart of Geelong, Victoria.

Tony Ciach
Born and raised on the Bellarine Peninsula to European parents. Tony has worked as a waiter and then Maitre ‘d in Melbourne and then in the Gold Coast since 2004 before returning home to Geelong in 2010. “I met Stephane at the Seafood Provedore in Queenscliff some three years ago and have enjoyed working alongside him ever since. We are both passionate about our work and customer service”.

Stephane McGlynn
Stephane started his career as a Chef with an apprenticeship at one of the best restaurants in Chalon en Champagne France, Stephane's hometown. Giving him a solid foundation in traditional French cuisine. “I am passionate about my profession and have enjoyed a successful career since moving to Geelong in 2006”. Working on both the Bellarine Peninsula and the Surf Coast in that time, in some of the regions best restaurants.

Beautiful, cozy little place. fantastic food amazing service, and great atmosphere. The Pate was so 'Melt in your mouth' perfect, the wait-staff never missed a beat during service, food came out in a timely manner. couldn't recommend it more!! Everything was great and nice.
Frankly the servers were amazing. Made the experience even better. It was going to be a 4/5 and I barely give 5 stars. But the servers at the restaurant made that big difference.
This is a lovely small, intimate place, with staff who have big personalities, and who go out of their way to make you feel part of the family, and to feel spoilt in every way. The wine list is of a good quality, the service is impeccable, and it is always lovely looking forward to going again. recommend
Thoroughly enjoyable. Delicious food and terrific, friendly, professional service. A very adequate wine list including a good number by the glass. A great way to end our stay in Geelong. We'll have to come back to taste some of the alternatives.
This item s a really lovely little place - has the feel of a French bistro, with beautifully prepared traditional French food to boot. Service was friendly but not intrusive, and we had a really lovely evening. Highly recommend.
