Food portions are very small on a very big plate for a higher than expected price. They have live music, just a little too loud. Drinks are also fairly pricey here. I reckon it's aimed at adults that equate expensive with nice. The Salmon was nice, that's about it.
This place changed hands it's now wine bar and tapas. Called "village lane" . We had a very nice meal on a Friday night. Great wine selection too. There was a lady singing and playing music. As the restaurant got full, it got very noisy.
I had "minestrone with Turkish bread" on Sunday at this restaurant and was extremely disappointed. Half the "minestrone" was made from a tin of spaghetti mixed through with what must have been left overs from not sure what. The "Turkish bread" was two thin slices of toasted vienna bread. I was so hungry I ate it - mostly to confirm that it really was made from tinned spaghetti - and it really was! I don't mind tinned spaghetti, but I would like it described as tinned spaghetti - tell it like it is! And tell me what the other stuff was, I'm still wondering. Five thumbs down! In the past, I have had pretty good meals here but that Minestrone really left a lot to be desired. I guess the lesson here is not to order from the blackboard. Don't ever do that again - really bad idea! So disappointed.
Fabulous food loved it. Recommended for family gatherings, work place functions etc. Really nice mains great Creme caramel. Very friendly service but not intrusive.Outdoor dining in daytime is cool under the trees.
