Can’t believe some of the positive reviews. The food is terrible and I’m part Indian. Garlic Nan was dry and FULL of salt. Chicken Biriyani had only 2 pieces of meat in it and an egg - very dry and little value for money. Lamb Korma was the WORST Korma I’ve ever had. Gulab Jamun sweet for $5 was 2 tiny itty bitty jamun balls. Wasted time effort and money. I threw it away. This hut is one to stay away from. They have no people or service skills whatsoever.
Very bad service quality... That was the case when the restaurant was not even busy. People who came in and ordered take away after us got the food much before us... Food quality is less than average... Took them about 40 mins to bring our two dishes...also elements in the dish were missing, when asked we were told the menu is old and those things are not served any more. But we were not told about the same when ordering. We were rudely denied giving an extra plate which I had asked for my kid. "No extra plates during lunch time". I guess they don't serve water and serviettes during lunch.. Very bad experience. Not recommended at all. Go at your own risk and if you have all the time in this world.
My Australian wife cooks far better INDIAN food than this place, whatever happened to the spices in the dishes also the gravy was more like the dishwasher water. A EXTREMELY EMBARRASSING NIGHT WHEN WE TOOK CLOSE FRIENDS WITH US AFTER READING SOME REVIEWS. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BE COMING HERE.
I had the worst experience in this restaurant. DO NOT consider this restaurant if you are planning to have nice lunch or dinner. We went there on 16th of Sep to see the rally of flower festival we go there every year and picked this restaurant. There were two ladies who were running this business. We ordered the çhicken special biriyani'. They took 1.5 hours YES, 1 HOUR AND 30 MINUTES to bring the first two orders. Rest of 4 members in our table were sitting empty-handed. Then the second lady brought another plate for the next table, who ordered the food 2 hours earlier. After that, every 20-30 minutes, one of the ladies started to come with one or two dishes. I assume, they started cooking after the orders were placed. After two hours of waiting rest of the 4 members in our table left the restaurant and went to the Turkish restaurant opposite of the road. I asked my 2 friends who got their food served about their opinion of food quality. They said whatever they got were not Biriyani. Being a Bangladeshi, we know what Biriyani is. It is one of the most popular foods in our country. What the cook of the restaurant did is mixing the plain rice with chicken curry and some biriyani spices. I can guarantee that it's no the process of cooking Biriyani. They can make the Australians fool saying that it was Biriyani, but I know it wasn't. If there was any option to select less than one star, I'd have gone for that. Therefore, DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT, unless you want to be disappointed.
I would give 0 star if i could. Service: Terrible. We had a baby with us and the lady didn't even allocate a seat for us. My husband was struggling to get the high chair open up i was holding the baby and she just watched sitting behind the counter. Food: That was the most terrible indian food i have ever experienced. Beef vindaloo tasted horrible. Not rich nor creamy not spicy. Beef was hard to chew and had no flavour. Rice was hard. I havent stopped having to use bathroom since i ate it. Save your money.. Don't eat there.
The worse Indian food in the town. The food is less than average. The waitress took my order wrong first time and then came with my order after another 15 minutes and it was very salty and with micro prawns saying there is no big prawns in the town!! I just had to pay and leave, it was so bad ~ I don't recommend it to anyone.
I'm hungry and I cannot finish my lamb Biryani just imagine the food taste!!!! And I'm Biryani lover, their Biryani Hut in their title does not sound Authentic to me. See the white rice mixed with curry in the image bad experience with friends.
Good sized portions, very flavourful. Tasty Indian food at a reasonable price. We have tried all the Indian restaurants in Toowoomba, and this is our favourite. Worth a try!
I ordered chicken tikka biryani 18$, this is worst dish ever. They just mixed plain rice with chicken curry. I never recommend this to any one . Don’t deserve 1 star and I am not sure how they got 5 stars.
Worst experience ever. We ordered chicken special biryani and they took 50 minutes to serve that. We asked during irder whether there will be any late and they told that they would take max 30mins to serve. After 50mins they served half cooked chicken in the biryani. The overall taste was not satisfactory at all. Will never come again.
