Beautiful place, lively and quiet for a walk. Walking/Bike track is dirt, beautiful scenery.. unfortunately a few dog owners seem to think that 'just picking up the poo' is enough. Tying the baggies of poo onto high tree branches or just dump g them to the side of the path is disgusting, as well as considered littering and vandalism. Please take more care when you walk your pet. You need to carry the poo out of the park after your pooch is done carrying it in. 💩

Great place for a walk and a little nature observation. Very open with little shade so its very exposed in the heat of the day during Summer. Some very basic facilities near car park. Glad to see on recent visit(Feb 2018) that works are happening to improve picnic area. Toilets were very grotty most times I've visited. Spoiled by entitled dog owners that ignore the On Leash regulations. Don't Shire officers patrol here?

The best place to walk the dogs in Belgrave! Most people are respectful of the dogs on lead policy, which really helps when you're still training your pup. The gardens and paths are tidy and well maintained. There could be a few extra spots to sit around the lake, but the grass is kept short so on a dry day it's nice to sit on the ground. I've seen warnings of snakes and I suspect they'd be quite prominent in the warm months. Not too concerned outside of summer. This really is a beautiful and tranquil place.

Awesome spot for a walk, run or leisurely bike ride. They are doing some major improvements at the shelter area which will make it even better. well worth a visit.
