Went to Billy's kitchen for dinner with the family. Service is good, depending on who you get I guess but the girl that served us has been very friendly and accommodating . Now the food, well here is our feedback: Chicken parmigiana : too dry I think they could do better on this. Buffalo wings : it's a pass for me, the flavour is missing and I think the wings is not fresh. Spaghetti carbonara: this one is quite decent, I would order it again next time. Open chicken souvlaki: this is also not bad, I would order it again. Kids meal fish and chips: thumbs up Overall it's not the best but I might visit again to try the other foods.
Food was nice and fresh. Staff was friendly. Normally the restaurant is quite busy. Luckily we were there around 2pm so we got served quickly.
Nice meal with spacious seating and friendly staff. A decent variety of dishes that look great and taste great also! No complaints, it was easy to get a table and service was efficient and quick. The drinks are a highlight for sure!
Used to come here a few years ago. Remember it being good quality, tasting nice. This time round, it has dropped slightly compared to what I recall. Pizza was thin, and lacked texture. Seafood linguine was mostly overcooked and lacked texture pasta and prawns. Felt there was too much calamari, and lacked a standard ingredient of fish. Flavours were ok. The highlight of the meal was the lychee cocktail special which had a good dose of lychee, passionfruit and liquor. Enjoyed that. The service was very good, the waiter and waitress were prompt and attentive. Would give them 5 stars for the service and cocktail, but food wise it was average. Outdoor seating was warm which was a plus. Plenty of space.
Second time coming here. The first was years ago and I was served reheated from frozen waffles so I vowed to never return. Today I thought, perhaps after years of staying open and good reviews it would be better, alas, not a good result. Sat at a sticky table. My husband ordered Wagyu brisket who would even dare to slow cook Wagyu?!?! It was okay, but did not have all items as stated on the menu. I had a plain burger, it was a bit cold and not worth the money. Sadly, today's breakfast has confirmed that I will not return here.
Food was excellent. Loved the calamari very tender . The lamb pizza was very nice. Staff were prompt and friendly. Overall I highly recommend this restaurant. Very nice surroundings as well.
Thanks for a great meal @Billy's Kitchen!! Food was great! - pizza was crispy and good size for two and decent amount of toppings. Chips were crispy and delicious and great portion for two. Price was fair. Vibe was really nice, the Christmas decorations were a great touch. Booking over the phone was easy. Great covid rules and restrictions in place. Staff were all very friendly and nice.
Great to find a lovely place to go at Westfield that has outdoor seating. Very pleasant ambience. We just had coffees, which we all enjoyed, but food menu looked great. Love to come back to dine!
REALLY, REALY SHOCKING – Under new management? 01 September 2022 We have been to Billy’s Kitchen several times. Our ritual is to visit Just Cuts then have lunch or dinner at Billy’s Kitchen. The staff, under the old management, have always been very helpful and polite. But this time the service and attitude towards us was dreadful. For some reason they did not want us with our 6 YO child to sit in the main dining area. Instead, we were shoved off to the side near the toilets and in a very cold part of the restaurant. This has never happened before. We were told that the whole restaurant on one side was FULLY BOOKED OUT. Please keep in mind we did book in advance. Yet, while paying the bill nearly one hour later we noticed there were STILL at least EIGHT EMPTY TABLES. In fact, the main area was almost empty. It seems that they are happy to hold these tables for hours and hours rather than have a mum and dad with one child in this exclusive area. This seemed like a tall story to us. When I questioned the person at the cash register why we were dumped near the toilets some very tall rude person started to butt into our conversation and argue with me. This person should hang their head in shame and find another job. We certainly did not feel like repeat customers. By the way my pizza was under cooked, and my tea was cold. We even had to find a spoon suitable for our child as the table service was a disgrace. As you can guess, no tip this time. To say that I am furious with this restaurant would be an understatement. I will call Knox Centre Management and see if they can suggest a more child friendly restaurant. I have tried to contact the owner but the staff who pick up the phone can’t be bothered. No wonder the place was empty. BUT WAIT there is more, they even gave us the wrong receipt for our meal.
We arrived and got seated and we’re waiting for other of our party to arrive. Waitress asked 2 times if we were ready to order we said we would wait a little longer. However after our group were all there no one came near us, we had to ask to order. We waited 45 min to be served. After quite awhile we asked where our meals are. They did not put the order into the system. When our meals arrive, mostly chicken u got the distinct impression they had been microwaved. I have had meals here before and not bad however this time. THE WORST MEAL U HAVE EVER HAD. Will not return
