Story

Billykart Kitchen is a licensed café open six days and is owned and operated by Celebrity Chef Ben O’Donoghue and his wife Dee.

Located in a revamped old corner shop amidst the wide tree-lined streets of Annerley, the couple have revived the tradition of an old-fashioned local store with their charming 80-seater eatery.

Billykart Kitchen serves Chef Ben O’Donoghue’s casual yet sophisticated menu with seasonal, local produce while wife Dee’s years of experience in the hospitality industry looking after the front of house ensures warm, welcoming and expert service.

Billykart Kitchen also offers Banneton Bakery fresh bread, milk, papers and other speciality food items.

Stylish cafe. Great coffee and nice fancy Aussie style food are served I was quite satisfied, afraid not at the time when they were extremely busy. Overall, recommendable.

Elegantly designed, delicious food. Friendly, down to earth staff. As aesthetically pleasing as delicious. Good variety of omnivorous and vegetarian meals. Dog friendly : Wonderful range of jams and patisserie at the counter.

Had an amazing experience, the chef knows what he's doing and was having fun and singing along to songs while cooking which creates a great feeling within the cafe. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Food was lovely and service great. They picked up around us and only asked us to leave at the last moment.

Food was fantastic and service just as good.  Tough choice on what to eat, but chose the loaded eggs.  Fantastic.  Coffee was great too.  Highly recommended.
