I’ve never had something so flavoursome, immaculate and finger licking good all from one potato cake. Bills Fish and Chips is honestly amazing. The workers are amazing, especially that one younger kid with the Brown Mullet and the big bottom. He was amazing and I was hoping for his Snapchat. Honestly bills is top 3 best fish and chips in the world. From The BigApples to the big bills fish and chips.
The food was pretty good. Hamburger was decent although a runny egg-yolk is a strange choice. Chips also decently crispy. Flake reported as appropriately tasty and of a decent size. Chiko Roll also cooked to correct levels. However... in one of the stranger substitutions I've come across, the requested potato cake was replaced with a dim sim and a calamari ring neither of which were desirable and therefore not eaten. Also... place only takes cash or bank-transfer, which feels pretty strange these days.
'bills fish and chips' is singly the best place to go for some good grub. the employees where lovely and where very friendly. I had a great chat with there person working there and I will go again. I got the lot and large chips for 1 and it was more then enough for single lonely man like me. I have recommend this to my loads of friends!

Really solid fish and chips. First time we had it, amazing!! We went back a fortnight later and it was still very good... but not as good. So possibly a bit inconsistent... having said that, we'll still go back next time we want fish and chips as its the best we've found in the area.
In my top 2 best fish and chip shops of all time- and I've been to a lot of fish and chip shops. Chips are perfectly cooked. Scallops and fish are super fresh. Souvlaki has a delicious flavour and all ingredients are fresh. They also have deep fried mars bars which is a win.
Bills takeaway would rate in the worst 10% of fish and chip shops I've ever eaten at. Fish was over cooked with thick dough batter. Horrible. Potato cakes were a disgrace. Chips nearly acceptable. Oh but that fish. Yuk. 90% of the meal ended up in a rubbish bin.
Always excellent fish and chips. Nice tasting oil, not too oily or salty. Fresh food and fast service. We go here all the time when we want nice quality grilled fish and old school chips! Fish bites and generous too.
**edit: so i left my diary here a day ago... and the staff called me to say they were looking after it for me. so good! The chips are AWESOME. the guy who cooks there is really nice. he was friendly to my family, and had no problem with my request to over cook the chips, exactly the way i wanted. Perfect!
