Second time staying here and quite upset. Construction started in a down stairs room at 7:30am loud drilling and talking. Would have been nice to know construction was happen would have stayed somewhere else. Also Hand wash was in the shower and body wash was next to the sink? And no bin in the toilet
We give the Billabong a 4 paw review.nA fantastic pet friendly motel we stayed with our doggo and from the moment we checked in felt welcome. Room was immaculately clean decor a little dated but bed firm and comfortable. Shower fabulous love a shower with great water pressure. Grassed area great for our doggo .nManagers where lovely. Great price great room great nights rest . Thank you will definitely recommend and stay again when travelling this way.
Checked in at 1800, with an IMMUNO-COMPROMISED INFANT. Ended up leaving at 2130, due to the state of the room.nRoom was in disrepair. Holes in walls. All taps leaking/dripping. Underside of TV was dirty/mouldy. This wasnt the worst part though…nMattresses were shot, no padding just metal springs in your back. Black hairs and dead bugs all through bedding. And after sitting on the beds for an hour, we all had bites, from what we could only assume were bed bugs…nWe left there itchy as anything, and spent five hours in the car driving home overnight.nNot worth the $170 spent. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
Not gonna lie , when i drove in i was thinking what have i done ...nBut wow what an awesome motelnRooms are clean , comfy and nicely set outnPool is soooo goodnBbq area was clean and nice with tables chairs , utensils .nReception was also amazing very friendly and mindful of safety and privacy.nProper bang for your buck !
Lovely motel in a great location within Gunnedah! We have stayed here twice now and will continue to do so. Walking distance to everything, friendly staff, clean, comfy rooms, big TV's, awesome pool, ample parking and of course a big plus they have pet friendly rooms!!
