We opted to stay here for two nights opposed to our original free camp locations due to how cold the weather turned quickly.nnFor two nights on a grassed, powered site we paid just over $100. So in comparison it wasn't too bad.nnIt was our first time as a family staying at a caravan park, and overall we were quite impressed with the facilities.nnThe laundry area was self explanatory. $6.00 a load card available to pay followed by $1.00 per 10mins for a dryer coin operated only. They had a washing line for those opting to line dry.nnThe bathroom facilities exceeded my expectations of what I imagined. The only was the shower could have been improved was that there were shower heads on extended hoses instead of fixed shower heads.nPlenty of hot water and lighting around the park. Lovely birds right near the entrance and reception area.nAnimals subject to suitability but we had no issues with both our cat and dog on lead, enjoying the park.nnThe playground connected to the camp kitchen for ease of access with kids.nFree WiFi was included but we didn't utilise it due to having StarLink.nnOverall we enjoyed our stay and it exceeded our expectations of a caravan park in 2025.
This place is the best. Locals are so friendly. Fantastic down by the riverside. Fantastic for the dogs. Staff here are so good, so friendly. Was a great find for me with the dogs. The cabins are amazing. Great bed. I'm definitely using this place in the future. Plenty in town as well.
I had a fantastic time at the park this year, enjoyed the unpowered grass sites and the clean facilities. The staff were friendly.
The park was clean, tidy, well maintained, was on a great spot on the river, had clean toilets and amazing showers. The staff were accommodating and easy to deal with. We stayed on a powered site which was fine...nnHowever, I get the feeling for a Big4...this park misses the mark. These parks are meant to be for families with kids. In my mind you go to a Big4 or Discovery Park with kids due to the facilities and how fantastic they generally are for kids.nnThis park has an appalling 'playground' if you could call it that...and that's it. No games rooms, jumping pillow, no pool, no activities besides a 1 time play through of a treasure hunt around the park. No Swings, no flying foxes, no pump tracks...all which you can expect to see at other Big4's or Discovery parks.nnIf it was just my wife and I. I wouldn't have rated this 5 stars no problems. But this is the worst Big4's I've been to when looking at it from a kid friendly perspective.nnDisappointing.
Why i cant give a good rating: came in after hours. I called many times to leave msg as there voicemail states. No access to toilet, no access to anything. Camped in the carpark. Went in to office following morning where I was told they texted me with the codes to get in. I said I didnt recieve anything, adding i was in view of the cameras and if I screamed the trades in the cabin behind me would come help. No compensation. No offer for next visit. I will not be returning.
