We have stayed at East Beach twice this year in the beach retreat cabin. Nothing to add from the other great reviews on here. Cabin was clean, Kids loved it, my husband and I loved it and my elderly parents loved coming and just relaxing on the balcony. Atmosphere is so friendly and relaxing. Id say the only disappointment is the check in and check out times. 3pm is a little late most hotels are around 2pm and checkout is 10am again most other places are 11am. other then that Great place that I will stay again and recommend.
Location is amazing and the service was excellent. My 3 year old daughter got a splinter on the beach and they came to her rescue in their buggy. She was spoilt with the attention and then checked up on again the next day. All the staff were super friendly which made it an even better stay! Will definitely be booking in next yearRooms: 5/5
Best place for families, the facilities are amazing for little kids. The beach is right there. Showers were clean! We loved it and cannot wait to go back again! My only suggestion is sunshades over the pools would be great!
Great park, cannot wait to come back when the water park opens. The F7 site we stayed on was so nice and spacious. The pool is a great size and lots to do for the kids with the activities and kids club. Would have preferred a later checkout of 11am.
A great resort style caravan park. Loads of things for the whole family. Right on the beach. Staff couldn't be lovelier or more helpful. Has a kiosk/mini shop that was well stocked and hot food at good prices. Whole family was so happy with our stay. Rooms: Cabins are very clean and functional.
Have been coming to this park with the kids for 10 years , it was our favourite end of year holiday destination. Just finished our stay here and to say I am appalled about the service we received during our stay would be right! Right from the very beginning at check in. Be prepared to be spoken to so rudely. What ever happened to customer service at this place? It’s such a shame as we love the park and the facilities available but the service is disgraceful to say the least. Have spent so much time here and have always done the right thing but the service received just changed our whole perception of this holiday destination. After everything that has gone on in the world the last year or two people look forward to relaxing at their holiday rather then feel as though they are being dictated causing anxiety during their stay.
You sent me a survey and asked for my review so here it is. I've lost count how many van parks I've stayed at on this trip and by far the worst service I've encountered. I walked in and was greeted by Vicki and she looked straight at her watch which by the way she told me later it was ringing and I still don't believe and said "you are a bit early aren't you". Yes I turned up 30mins or so early but have never had a issue at any other parks this whole trip. She then proceeded to "try ring the ground staff" to see if my site was ready & she told me she couldn't get hold of them. So I left with my 2 young children went into town and was called by her 20 minutes later to say I could check in. Well I counted 15 spare sites around me the next morning let alone how many spare in the rest of the park. Best you find a new job or learn some customer service skills Vicki. Also your jumping pillow and kids activities open too late as when your kids are awake at 530am and have to wait till 9/930am for the splash Park and playground/jumping pillow to open up its almost time to check out. Which by the way I watched people checking in on my departure at 950am the next morning. So yeah I won't be returning here.
This would have to be the most overrated holiday park I have ever experienced. Lets start with the service. Absolutely atrocious. Got there at 2pm, check in is at 3pm. Reception made a comment oh you're early. Please come back at 3pm. Then she continued, you can't leave your car in the 15min parking. Her tone was extremely rude. I came back at 3pm, only to be told my room was still not ready and to wait for a phone call. Still no access to any facilities including toilets. Finally got a phone call at 4.30. They tried to shut me up with a $10 voucher for the park café. The shower was shocking. I had my son in there it took forever to get the temperature right, then half way through the shower the water came down scolding hot, called service, they said it was because another tap was turned on. Tried again with the next shower, made sure no other taps were turned on for the duration, same thing happened. Couldn't even enjoy a shower! Nothing is included. Have to pay for hire of anything and everything. We paid top dollar for the worst service and amenities. Even on check out, I was asked, how was your stay, I said it was a very bad experience. The lady replied oh no. And that was it. She didn't ask why, wasn't interested to further investigate to maybe try and redeem the park. The staff need to realise they work in the hospitality industry and this level of service is totally unacceptable. I understand they may be under pressure as it is the beginning of the peak season, but if you can't handle it, find another industry to work in. This was my first time, and definitely my last time. If I could have given no stars I would have. Definitely not worth the money.
The service brilliant. Staff helped us reverse the van and checked in shortly after. We drive a 24ft van and reversing can be a stressful experience but with the staff this was simple. Also want to note the hygiene of all facilities. Couldn't be cleaner and makes the whole experience much easier when everything is this clean. Thanks would highly recommend.
We love East beach - the facilities are great, very clean and staff a friendly. We love how the grounds are always looked after and security around the park makes it is feel very safe. Love to be able to one day take our pet so they can enjoy the holiday with us.Service: 5/5
