Went to the Cannonvale store to exchange a faulty steam mop that I purchased a few months ago. (Only discovering it was faulty once I finally needed to use it due to the house cleaners being on vacation) I didn’t have my receipt since it’s been a while, but was told I could bring my card that was used to purchase the items and it would be no fuss and easy to look up being that I spent over 500.00 on that transaction. Approaching the service counter I was told I needed to know an approximate few days of when I purchased the steam mop. I advised the woman working of the approximate dates and she said it would take a while, but worst case scenario they could give me a lowest price credit (89.00) instead of an exchange of the same item. I had no problem with that, but wanted to give her the chance to look up my item so I could get an exchange for the same steam mop. Since it was going to take a while to look up I asked if I could go to a dr appointment around the corner..she said that was good it would give her time. When I came back, the same woman, Sarah, and a manager (ken or Kent) were very rude and now refused to give me a credit and accused me of purchasing the item from another store or a Facebook page AFTER the fact they already told me I could worst case scenario have the credit (being aware that I purchased it months ago and didn’t have my original docket) It was very dissapointing and slightly embarrasing how they handled the Situation. The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced or witnessed. I’ve spent a very significant amount of money here buying home furnishings since we just moved to the area from overseas. Fortunately the store manager stepped in and I explained what had happened and she gladly replaced the faulty item. I wish I had gotten the store managers name, but I would again like to thank her after dealing with the awful staff that was at the service counter. Big dissapointment after many trips of previously experiencing friendly staff at this location...will be buying bigger ticket items from other stores from now on.

Plenty of products with a major lack of price tags,and misplaced on the shelves in the wrong spot. Won't be back in a hurry. On a positive front end staff were great!

Huge variety of products at great prices. It is one of the neater Big W stores I have been to. The staff seemed preoccupied with stocking and they didn't provide an amazing service.
