Ordered for the 16th June..was a bouquet of balloons for my daughters baby shower..my son picked them up on the day..he brythem to the venue and the main foil balloon wasn't blown up to its full comppasity..nor were the others..I phoned spoke to the girl..who said she blew them up..and were fine when they left..well I'm assuming the balloons last longer than hour..she asked my to come down to get another ..I said no I'm at my daughter's baby shower ..she did say it may have a pin hole ..I wasn't leaving to waste time ..I asked for a discount..but no was the answer..very disappointed..very much so I was so upset .. also have pick of balloons on arrival
Courteous, friendly staff who actually walk with you to find an item instead of just pointing in the direction of.nGreat clearance sales - love a bargain.nUsually staffed registers, but if there's not and you ask, they'll open one straight up.nAlways a pleasant shopping experience at Big W Cessnock
Plant section has closed down. Range is still a bit lacking. Target is stocking Kmart brands now so that and Bunnings tend to be a better options for a lot of stuff now.nnCars, hardware and electrical and what's left of the plants is now down to a few facings near the plants section. Probably not worth looking for that gear here anymore.nnClothing sections aren't bad, including men's. A step up in quality from Kmart and reasonably priced.nnChildren's toys get a lot of floor space and are generally pretty diverse. Haven't had much luck finding what we've been after there though.nnMens change room is terrible. No hooks, no seat and a tiny shelf with a 20kg weight limit warning. Floor was filthy and the walls were smeared with something I hope was food. No staff around either.nnDisabled parking out front and disabled access is generally great here but with only two disabled parks in an area with a large elderly population they are generally not available.
Staff were helpful and pleasant found what I wanted, good parking out the front of the shops
Good shop. Staff member Tracy was really helpful.
