"The Big Rocking Horse and Toy Factory at picturesque Gumeracha is only 40 minutes from Adelaide. Opening hours are 9am to 5pm on weekends. The animal park closes at 4.15pm on weekends, and 3.15pm during the week. During the week we operate from 9am to 4pm. Note the Cafe operates from 10am to 3pm.Entry into our Wildlife Park is $4 per person, and animal food is available at $2 per bag. Handfeed the kangaroos and wallabies!The Retail Shop has a range of quality wooden toys produced on site, as well as a diverse array of other toys, gifts and souvenirs at competitive prices. You can also climb the world’s Biggest Rocking Horse for only $2 per person!!"

Took the family out to their first time at the Big Rocking Horse at Gumeracha. For $2 per person gains access to climb to the top of the Rocking Horse. After that we went to the Cafe for lunch. Ordered a hamburger for Barbie and me, and the boys shared chicken nuggets and chips. Next stop was the wildlife park for $3 per person. Overall it’s good value and price for a family adventure.

What a wonderful few hours spent at the Big Rocking Horse. Nominal fees to climb up the World's Biggest Rocking Horse and to enter the petting zoo. Beautiful fauna and flora small little walk with the kiddos. We also had lunch at the cafe and enjoyed it. Kids finished mostly everything. The Toy Factory has really nice wooden stuff and naturally made items. Superb to pick birthday party favour or just something quirky for your home.
Had an awesome experience climbing the biggest rocking horse in the world ! They gave certificates that you been on that rocking horse and makes it feel more genuine experience. They have different local animals at the park where the kids can enjoy. They also have tables and chairs where a family can use for picnic. Get out here. It was a great visit. The staff were amicable. The animals were beautiful and the kids were so happy to feed the animals and climb the horse which was awesome. A good stop to stretch the legs and support a local attraction.
We decided to swing past this place on our drive. Was a nice stop. We got to climb* the rocking horse for $2 each, and got a certificate at the end. *Note: Actually climbing up a near vertical ladder. Not for the faint of heart, or those scared of heights. We didn't eat here or do the animal area this time. There were some birds near the playground that were very friendly. I did go for a wander in the toy shop, they have some amazing wooden toys and souvenirs.
Lovely place. Gift shop is fantastic many wooden toys from spinning tops, doll cradles, trucks, rocking horses & much more. Choice of food is great & beautiful little spots around to sit & eat. Situated in bushland which is perfect. Highly recommend
Great cheap family day out. Very cheap to climb the rocking horse and feed the animals. Great cafe with lots on offer. Toilets and grounds are keep clean and tidy
Nice few hours out. Lovely little animal park to wander round and feed the ducks, birds, roos etc. Kids loved the toy shop. In fact we all did. The truck wine rack was definitely my favourite. Will be back to purchase one. Food was lovely and nice little area to sit and kids play and a small play park for bigger kids. Very reasonably priced for the animal park and to climb the horse. Very scary at the top and not much room so didn't spend too long up there Over all, a lovely trip out and kids all happy with their new toys. Just a She we couldn't see the ppl working and making toys but we did go on a Sunday.
Reasoning for the 3 stars is because the food was awful nothing to brag about! Expensive and absolutely flavourless. The animals were absolutely beautiful. It was a very good enviroment.
