Used Big Law for conveyancing on my new (and first) home. Cost was high for the little work done. They exhibited a lack of knowledge of eligibility for waving stamp dutie fees for first home buyers. Cost of over $3000 and the only way we got the fees waved was with our own research (which was successful). Will never recommend this company to anyone.

In my honest opinion, the solicitor I used was not very good. 

It was for divorce proceedings from my wife,  and the Big Law solicitor seemed to allow my wife's solicitor alot of control, and he came across as a poodle rather than the rottweiller that I wanted. 

What I consider rather poor as well is that he failed to return calls and emails. 

I would absolutely not have used him if I had an inkling of any of this beforehand.
