A truly amazing rainforest that conserves and homes many different species of plants. The feeling is truly as if you are being inside a forest. At both entrances/exists you have boards explaining the necessity of having rain forests, their job in the environment etc. Inside the conservatory the plants are named and tagged in an interesting manner. I suggest families to visit this place with kids cause it’s such a calm and educative place. This place is free of charge to visit.
A beautiful rain forest in the the botanical garden. Massive collection of trees. Free admission. A very good place to learn about trees and plants in rain forest.
Massive amount of plants in the building. Quite humid in there compared to outside, I assume it’s to replicate the ambient temp and humidity of the environment that the plants came from. There’s a small pond with some fish in it and some lily pads on top. There isn’t many flowers there though. I would definitely recommend the place though as there’s a lot to see.
Lovely rain forest garden, perfect to pop into for some relative peace and quite, with a fabulous garden scene.
Awesome.. Free Admission.. so no excuse for not visiting..
The Bicentennial Conservatory was such an amazing place! I didn’t know about it until I looked up tourist attractions near me. Then I found this place! It was absolutely beautiful, it’s like walking into a tropical rainforest! And it’s free as well! I would recommend this place to anyone but especially people who enjoy being out in nature. This will be a great place for them! 10/10

A rainforest in Adelaide. Tranquil, therapeutic, well designed, lovely. Spot the one fish in the pond, walk the boardwalk, breathe the thick, humid, organic air, meander, linger, take more than one quiet moment.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo wait
If you haven’t experienced a tropics environment, this is the place to! You will feel like you’re walking through a rainforest that is carefully taken care of. The work put into this location is amazing. Props to the team, you selected a great variety of plant life and arranged it in a seamless way. You could walk in here, sit down and enjoy the sounds of nature.. even when it’s pouring rain outside! If you’re from North Queensland, this will feel just like home!
Lucky enough to see the rare corpse flower here. They do a great job maintaining the gardens.
