The dumplings were tasty and filled us up nicely. They weren't amazing, but they did the job. They were a bit pricey, though. The filling inside was good, not too thick. Overall, they were alright for a filling meal. Despite the busyness, the kitchen was managed efficiently by a single man, which is commendable..
If the price isn’t marked on the products, please ask for it before taking them to the counter. It’s a BIG scam and tactics from them, and you might end up paying more than 300-400% of the actual cost. They know that once Bhutanese customers reach the counter, they find it difficult to put the product back. Also, some of these items are from Indian grocery stores but are sold at an excessively high price. The same business tactic of Bhutanese in Australia as well. Items are too expensive.
It’s bit disheartening to say this but this situation happened twice, I was doing some shopping in the store and after that I went to the counter to make the payment and from my calculations it should not have been more than $150 as I calculated the amount of thing I bought. Then the girl at counter did the calculations and said it was $195 and I asked her for the receipt and she was shocked when I asked for it. She then asked me for my number through which she wanted to sent the receipt. I went back to my car and checked the message and then I found out the price which was on the message and the actual price in the store didn’t match. Please refrain from doing such things as it won’t make much difference by scamming other peoples, it will only lead to bad image of the store.nAnd to be honest there isn’t much Bhutanese product and the price is bit high. I only went there as I wanted to give that as a gift. Never gonna go back again
I bought 2 plate veg momo and found out that 1 plate got 8pieces inside while one plate got only 5. I am wondering who took 3 piece momo from my plate
