A great range of authentic Bhutanese foods and handicrafts, friendly staff, much recommended.
A general store that sells Bhutanese products in Perth. Not well-equiped but something is better than nothing.
Bhutan store is my favorite go to place for momos. However, just few days ago , I ordered the beef momo and found it quite disappointing. Not talking about the filling, but the flour that was used to cover the fillings weren’t cooked. It still looked white and uncooked. I had the momos by removing the uncooked flour part. I feel they used the ready made flour wrappings. My earnest request please don’t use it if you are using it, use the flour you knead like before. Please maintain that delicious authentic taste like before. Let’s break through the stereotypical idea that Bhutanese business deteriorate the quality right after they gain popularity. I miss the delicious momos.
The dumplings were tasty and filled us up nicely. They weren't amazing, but they did the job. They were a bit pricey, though. The filling inside was good, not too thick. Overall, they were alright for a filling meal. Despite the busyness, the kitchen was managed efficiently by a single man, which is commendable..
Doesn’t open on time. Not punctual. If Woolies said they’d be open at 0600 hours, they would be open at 0600 hrs. Please remember when you do business, this isn’t Bhutan, this is Australia where time is money. Thanks.
