One of the best cafes in Melbourne. Having been to Gordon Ramsays in London, this is unironically on par or better. The butcher itself is significantly higher quality than any of the rubbish you'll find in Coles or Woolworths. Worth visiting for either the cafe or the Butcher.
A hidden gem with a variety of meals packed with flavour, generous portions and service is friendly and prompt. There is outdoor seating and some cozy indoor seating. Credit card payments are accepted too.
Best food, the owner is always so friendly. First place I go for lunch every time I go to Melbourne from Adelaide.
Expect to be happily surprised by this hidden Gem. Constantly changing menu that always keeps you guessing but served so well it keeps you going back again and again. The alfresco out the back is so chilled and the service is simply Awsome. Great work guys... keep it up
Came back here after moving out of the area since covid. The food and service is better than ever. This is truly a hidden gem in the heart of the Richmond business district. Each day, they'll have a selection of BBQ meats today it was brisket, jerk chicken, and pulled pork and sides today's was Mac n cheese with bacon, green salad and veggies. I had the brisket, which was cooked to perfection not dry like so many places and a salad and mac n cheese. The serves were big and the food was great the photo doesn't do it justice. To find Little Bertie’s, you need to walk around to the big car park between the station and Swan St near church St. I'm surprised that they're not busier here, but it's seems to be the case with the lunchtime crowds since covid. So many people are still working from home, especially in the tech industry which makes up a big proportion of Richmond businesses.
Nice hidden spot! Really good food for a decent price. I like that their menu is small while maintaining good variety fyi it slightly changes each time as well
Love Berties. A local institution, and hands down my favourite butcher in Richmond. Great food/produce and service. Fantastic range of quality free range, and ethical meat/poultry options in the butcher off swan + great takeaway food options. Little Bertie's out the back provides dine-in simple food executed well. A hidden gem that doesn't dissapoint.

Awesome food and value. Easily a favourite for lunch. Massive fan of their lamb and pork. If only they did dinner as well!
