Popped in to check it out and was impressed by the friendly staff and of course as a Bonsai fan I was blown away by the large, mature, exhibit pieces and the great range of starters and partly mature trees. If you're looking for imported and larger pots, they've got you covered too. I can't wait for my next visit but might call ahead to check what stock is in. It is October 2021 as I write this and supply chains seem to be causing long delays.
Visited today, was impressed with range and stock and prices. Young lady the Daughter in Law of the owners, very pleasant and helpful. Wished I had gone there before Bunnings weeks a go, would have saved$ for sure. Like supporting locals. Will definitely return.
Great range of stock, I'm so very glad I did shop around, I got 3 of the same hight plant, with much more growth bushy, branches and leaves and 3 for less then the price of one. Recommend shopping around. I understand businesses must make a profit but more then 3 x the price? Thanks anyway
The old lady was rude and didn’t want to talk to us. Being new to the hinterland type area, I was wanting to find out what her suggestions were for fast growing screening. She wasn’t helpful and kept saying “it depends”. Never again. I’ll be going elsewhere.
PLANTS Good varity of plants, native, floral, bush and landcaping. SERVICE Down to earth staff, that inform you of the facts. They waited for customers to leave before popping on the sprinkler, that was good. OVERALL Good fair prices Plants healthy and cared for
Went here on a whim looking for Finger Lime plants and they had two different types of them, so I was very happy. Reasonably priced and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and answered all my questions. They have a huge range of indoor and outdoor plants as well as pots and soils to pick from.
Great range of natives and non-natives. Carpark is an unsealed asphalt design which really made me reminisce about fighting around Ireland with travellers. A sturdy foot wear and quick response is needed to excel in a bare knuckle dust up on this terrain. No luck with a punch up today unfortunately.
I've been coming here for years and know stock comes and goes. Very sad atm though. Not much stock left as it seems someone has a bonsai thing and that's taking over the nursery. Branching out into pots and other supplies. The thing that used to set it apart was it WASN'T Bunnings. Still a decent variety of indoor type plants.
I've been here three times recently and am blown away with how helpful they have been. I know nothing about landscaping my new house and have gotten great ideas here. The plants I've bought so far seem to be happy in my yard and look great. Prices seem very reasonable, cheaper perhaps than the big box stores and it's nice to be able to support a smaller, local business.
This place looks unkepted. Loads of the plants had weeds I the pots and just not looked after. Some ok stock but I would look elsewhere for quality plants. Also the prices are very high especially given the quality or lack thereof.
