Lovely Bakery! I didn't realise that they accepted both cash and card and had a lovely Breakfast Bap there. A hearty portion and a great price! with enough sauce to taste with the food and not drown it! Would highly recommend those visiting the area to try their sandwiches. I am yet to try their jacket potatoes or pasties but will be back soon!
Friendly and personal service. They go out of their way to find local products to suit my needs. They have my regular order all ready. Their scotch eggs and rolls are the best I have ever had. I have recommended the bakery to many friends.
Always Friendly and a must for a bacon butty if in town but don't tell my wife. Or my doctor.... Rarely used the old bakery but the latest owners have really won over the locals with a great service, clean tidy shop and great food. Can't recommend them enough.
Phil is a top lad, more than happy to try new things such as batches of flap Jack donuts and triple layer salted-caramel brownie. With good prices and amazing food that's always hot, Berkeley bakery does not disappoint. They even offer a 30% discount for students!
Wow what a bakery. I go in most mornings for breakfast everything is always fresh. And the owners are great people. I would anyone who hasn't been there should go. Anyone traveling and is in the area definitely pop in
I just love the internet! I stopped outside the bakery, which was open, removed my cycle helmet and hat, but they had closed when I reapproached the door! They must have seen me but closed anyway. So, not impressed.
As a regular for anumber of years and although the food sold previously was good, it is now better. The Pasties, Scotch Eggs and Pork Pies which are all hand made on the premises are Simply the Best.
Great local Bakery, staff are friendly and helpful , their Lemon drizzle cake, Scotch eggs & pork pies are to die for and if you want a special treat try their bacon butty.
Exquisite Lemon drizzle cake , divine pork pies....wow, that pastry is magnificent.....and fabulous sourdough!!!
Lovely owners and great service. The pork pies and Scotch eggs in particular are delicious
