Went for Wednesday lunch. Excellent. Had the $20 rump. The rump was very tasty and cooked a little over med/rare. Fab value. Salad with it....delicious a nice change from mixed leaves dumped on plate where most other places do. Chips pretty crunchy and tasty. Well done the Bennett. Highly recommended for a cheap eat lunch.

I had an absolutely delightful dining experience at The Bennett Hotel in Hamilton today. The 250g Black Angus rump steak was cooked to perfection, accompanied by golden chips, flavourful coleslaw, and a delectable savoury pepper sauce. The lemon, lime, and bitters drink was a refreshing delight. The culinary journey concluded with an outstanding pineapple parfait dessert, now my favorite anywhere. Exceptional meal, impeccable service – an overall fantastic experience!

WellI have to say I never knew this pub existed and was taken the my manager of Newcastle Brew Shop and his wife. We had a small team meeting then we tucked in to some tucker. Well once again I very impressed with the food at this great venue. I also noted that there are some excellent beers I could definitely go there for a session of beer, food, and a punt on the horses. I would call this a good day out. To all the staff at The Bennett Hotel keep up the good work and the service you should be proud of your staff.

This older style hotel has changed ownership and reopened their renovated restaurant just this week.nnAbsolutely superb food!!!nAbsolutely amazing food!!!nTypical pub style food taken to another level of supreme!!!nThen there's the desserts... OMG.nnWonderful menu with different value deals on every week night, plus a list of seasonal specials to get the taste buds watering.nnDining area is well lit and presented or you can enjoy your meal in the bar areas or outdoor courtyard.nnA fantastic selection of boutique brews available on tap plus the usual fare.nnIt's well worth getting back to the Bennett!!!

The lunch specials are very competitive, food was good, open and bright atmosphere. Friendly service, food arrived quickly. Does not accept AMEX.
