Benesse is an institution for breakfast / brunch in Bunbury. The food quality and taste has always been great. Today they only got 4 stars from me for food as my better half got fruit toast and the portion size for $11. was stingy to be polite. The jam with it was as tasty and generous as ever, the taste of the fruit toastbwas also great. But if your fruit loaf is smaller than normal size, charge less. Not the same price as out last visit when my other half struggled to finish it as it was twice as thick and twice as big. My ham, cheese, tomato toasty was delicious, the coffees were great $7.20 for a large but expensive.
Love this cafe. I always detour through Bunbury when going down south just to get to go here! Have taken my now adult kids here since they were little. Awesome food and service. Keep it up guys! Thanks
Great coffee, great food. Had the orange/citrus pancakes which were delish! Pancakes were light and fluffy, perfectly complemented by the fruit, granola and rhubarb syrup. The Big Fry was a hearty meal, plenty to share. Suggest getting poached eggs with it to pair with the crusty sourdough bread. The fried mushrooms in the dish were deeply flavourful. Black coffee was thick and packed a punch, while the Dirty Chai was well balanced and pleasing.
Brekky food seemed better than the brunch food. 30 bucks for a burger is quite steep, wasn't that special as well. I feel like food should be quick, cheap or good. Didn't shine in any of those and was mid. Not bad for visiting or cafe. But you will be paying for itnnLovely service and friendly staff
Down from mandurah on our way through Bunbury, this is not our first time here, but it has been a long time. We only stopped in for coffee as you were packed to the brim.nnToday being Boxing Day, the staff and management were on point-faultless I would say. The coffee, just as amazing as our last visit.nnThank you for the great service. Well done team.
