Very nice breakfast. Always good to see something other than the typical breakfast meals on the menu.nnFood was delicious and coffee 10/10nnSmall inside seating area which sucks because it was so cold. Plenty of outdoor seating which would be amazing when the wrather is a bit warmer.
Benesse is an institution for breakfast / brunch in Bunbury. The food quality and taste has always been great. Today they only got 4 stars from me for food as my better half got fruit toast and the portion size for $11. was stingy to be polite. The jam with it was as tasty and generous as ever, the taste of the fruit toastbwas also great. But if your fruit loaf is smaller than normal size, charge less. Not the same price as out last visit when my other half struggled to finish it as it was twice as thick and twice as big. My ham, cheese, tomato toasty was delicious, the coffees were great $7.20 for a large but expensive.
Just had the best ham, cheese and tomato toastie of my life! It was even gluten free! Cheesy melted yummyness with crunchy goodness. Will be back!
Staying a few nights in Bunbury on our way down the coast from Perth. Two days in town, two visits to this fabulous café. The coffee and the cakes we had were fabulous. A wonderful bustle in the café and the staff were all exceptional. Thank you!
Great coffee, great food. Had the orange/citrus pancakes which were delish! Pancakes were light and fluffy, perfectly complemented by the fruit, granola and rhubarb syrup. The Big Fry was a hearty meal, plenty to share. Suggest getting poached eggs with it to pair with the crusty sourdough bread. The fried mushrooms in the dish were deeply flavourful. Black coffee was thick and packed a punch, while the Dirty Chai was well balanced and pleasing.
