I would give it 6 stars if I could! Amazing place, a hidden gem! We had a pork bahn mi and freshly rolled/pressed sugar cane juice. The juice was beyond good!! Highly recommend! Divine drink! The banh mi was full of vegetables which I loved because the flavour was quite strong.
Cheapest bahn mi around, and you get what you pay for. Bread was average and buttered, and the protein was minimal - understandable for the price. Not quite to the standard of bahn mi you pay a few more dollars for, but you can't get this price anywhere else - so it's acceptable.
This is my favourite place to get vietnamese chicken roll with HOT chilli and I have tried them at a lot of places. And ONLY $4!
So delicious! Heavy on the coriander and chilli which I love! At $4 this is such a bargain. It's smaller than the higher priced places but I find a big one too much for me anyway - this is perfect size and the price and flavour can't be beat
Very decent. More on the traditional side of Banh Mi's. They've got choice of pork, chicken and sardine
Really friendly staff. The pork bread roll was amazing and very good prices. My husband had to had 2! Haha... the sugar cane juice is a must too. Coming back again for sure!
Its a small tucked away shop couple of shops down from chicken treat. Thisis one of the few place in Perth that makes freshly press sugar cane drinks that is not so diluted and on top of that cheaper then others. The BMT is full of flavour and cheaper too. Worth the drive to try this again.
Ben Thanh is flawless in its food and quality. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The serve the best BMT or Banh Mi Thit in Perth. As well as that, they also serve one of the best sugarcane juices in Perth, although there is slightly too much ice sometimes.
Perth's best Banh mi thit pork. Wouldn't recommend the sugarcane juice. Deals with allergy issues well. Also accommodates flavour variations no chilli,extra coriander, more chilli etc rather well.
My friends and families kept telling me how awesome Ben Thanh's baguette are so I had to give them a try. I even took my partner for the testing : The baguette was crunchy and crispy. The sauce was nice. They did put in chilli for us some places hold back on the chilli, for some odd reason. The meat tasted delicious. We were giving all positive feedback, but then a hour later we BOTH had a stomach ache, and that was the only food we had that was the same. Am not 100% sure that it was from their baguette, but the evidence do point there. Giving it a 3 star. Maybe will try again later in the future.
