Best convenience store in Townsville, has fresh salads, sandwiches and pies home made, beautiful coffee and fresh juices! Also super friendly and lots of sustainable and organic options.

Great variety of good food and other products, but you spend 50% of your time there waiting for an endless queue of gamblers to be served.

I was known by name after the owners, Kerry and Mark, introduced themselves on my first visit to the shop almost 7 years ago. I'm so proud to call Belrowes News & Mini Mart my neighbour. I would never consider going anywhere else for my daily pick-me-up or gift shopping. What an excellent selection! The staff make me feel like I've got a second home there. Each and every time I come through the door, I feel as though I am visiting with family. Every staff member offers service that is second to none !

Home made meals are great.  However it was the home made meat pies or house meat pies that blew me away.  Have not had one so good since I last made decades ago.  I had the lamb and mint, and my friend the beef.  Light pastry, delicious and full of filling.  Plus found lots of yummy bits and pieces we need.  Recommend.

Kerry introduced herself almost straight after I arrived and the energy in this store is very positive. Conroy was also very friendly when serving me and the vegetarian and Vegan food options were a pleasant surprise.
