The food was above average and the kids area was popular for our son. It did have a bit of a smell and the hand sanitisers were all out of order. It's a good place for busy parents to unwind while the kids have run around.
A nice venue with good food, coffee and drinks. The $12 Saturday pizza special made the meal really good value, too. There are some private areas that can be booked for parties. Otherwise, there is a lot of seating and tables in the large dining room, although a booking is advisable even in the main dining room if you are going at a busier time. There is a good kids' play area and a good amount of parking.
Nice place for kids birthday parties with a playground and a lot of room to move around. Overpriced pub food and drinks and, as usually around here, the consumer does part of the server job. But at least you do not have to tip.
We had our son's 5th birthday party at the Belrose on 14 Jan 2023 & the whole experience was absolutely remarkable! The organising with the Events team at the Belrose was fantastic from the get go. It was very personalised with emails & phone calls to explain our space better & in such clear detail. I had a few questions & everything was answered with kindness & patience. It made planning what could have been quite a stressful event with over 70 people in attendance, very relaxing & fun indeed. The team on the day were also amazing at looking after all of us from the moment we got there. We asked for little things like the AC to be turned higher as it was quite a warm day & for water to be placed on the tables & nothing was a problem at any point. The food was awesome & I had many remarks that it was so tasty. The Events team's advice on timing was impeccable as parents were so grateful that there was such an easily accessible spread so that they could help themselves on arrival & they could just relax with some adult conversation while the kids tore off to the playground, snacks from their goody bags in hand! Considering we were having the party just after lunch, it was also the perfect amount of food to snack on for both adults & kids. I didn't even get a glance at the fairy bread or nuggets so it's safe to say that between the roaring fun of Aardy's magic performance & the lure of the playground, all 30 kids somehow vacuumed all that delicious food into them The wristbands for the bar tab were awesome & all the staff were so easy to communicate with for all of our guests. We stayed until past 5pm with just a few families remaining actually - just at a small table in the back. The Belrose team were so efficient at cleaning up around us & they were so friendly while we relaxed & unwound after our event. Everyone had so much space to roam & chat during our whole event & we were all so grateful. We've always known that the Belrose environment is very inviting so we were thrilled when some friends also decided to stay & have dinner. Others chose to buy their kids ice cream on the way out. Your venue truly does have everything we need, plus more! We absolutely recommend this experience to anyone looking for the best place to host any kind of event!
Great place, with some good food. Has kids playground. Coffee is good, I had one of the largest latte here.
An amazing family friendly section to this pub. My daughter loves to play here whilst we catch up with friends. Good all round food menu with lots of options adds to experience. Absolutely recommend for family dinner, or lunch, or a group outing when you have young kids 2-8 years old to entertain. Make sure to make a booking, as it gets quite busy in the bistro near the play area.
Fantastic place for the families with kids! Decent size play area and the food menu is great with reasonable price. There is a outdoor sitting area for kids to do drawing and painting. A lovely staff stay with the kids and help them to get the color in pages and paints. How thoughtful and considerate they are!
Went there on a Friday night Place was really busy. Very family friendly. They have specials every night Friday special was $12 any hamburger deal on the menu including chips. Great service and the food for our table if 8 had arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. Good value. Lots of beer selections. By 8.30 the hotel was half empty. Recommended for a good value pub food.
Great food and service. They host an amazing meat raffle here. There's a good chance you might win a meat raffle as they call out so many winners. Good layout - the club feels huge because there are multiple sections for lounging, dining, gaming, functions, etc but feels like an open concept at the same time.
I have been here several times with my daughter and her family. It is a family friendly hotel catering for adults and children.The children like the play area. Food is good quality and very reasonably priced. Service is friendly and efficient.
