Quite simply the best butcher in Melbourne. High quality meat and good old-fashioned customer service. You can’t ask for more. I have been shopping at Belmore Meats exclusively since discovering this place back in 2012. Their biodynamic, organic, and free range meat is superb - you can really see and taste the difference. As a picky meat lover I would not buy my meat anywhere else. Their deli and smallgoods range is delicious too. Keep up the great work guys!
The BEST quality meat and excellent service. Even as a Bondi Beach resident I used to buy their meat. Now that I live locally, I really appreciate their home delivery service. Friendly and prompt. Thank you again
Absolutely shocked. We really wanted to support this place as we thought they were a small organic business wanting to do good. We spent $250 on meat online. When placing the order online it said it would be delivered on Monday. When Monday came we didn't get our meat. We called to ask where it was and were told it wasn't coming until Thursday. The man on the phone was unbelievably rude, said too bad and offered a refund. It has now been well over a month, we have NOT received our money back. They have stolen our money. We are now having to contest this with our bank. Do not shop from here. I cannot believe how horribly we were treated.
The best butcher I’ve ever been too. Have been going here since I was a teenager. Now living an hour away and whenever I can still going in. Amazing selection of meats. Personal favourite the Italian meatballs, cheese cransky and marinated back strap. Amazing selection of sausages.
My favourite butcher. Customer service is outstanding. They will provide you with the exact type and cut of meat you request. Need a non-standart mince - they do it while you wait. Also available is organic, grass-fed meat - well worth the money if you want something special.
The team at Belmore Biodynamic Meats is professional and friendly. High quality products and great customer service. Certainly a treasure in the Mont Albert and Balwyn area. I recently bought a beef roast for my wife’s birthday dinner and the quality was amazing! 1.2kg of goodness. Thanks guys and will be there again soon.
Just paid $11 for a chicken carcass and a dogs bone. When I queried if the price was correct, believing that's reasonable. I faced a very defensive response. I was aggressively asked if ran a business, as though my query was unreasonable, or I have no understanding of business dynamics or costs. Then trying to exit told to keep walking. Nice. Common, you guys can go better than that! No I haven't run a butchering business- mate! However, can recall when bones and carcasses were thrown in by friendly butchers for free! Things have obviously changed. Your meat might be good, but that service interaction was terrible, and other providers locally have meat just as good.
Always friendly and knowledgeable service and happy to cut/mince to your requirements. You pay for what you get, but that's how you support ethically produced meat and the farmers who raise it. We are very satisfied regular customers, supporting a local business.
