After multiple visits and declining health of my dog, I was told by every vet that saw him there was nothing they could find. I was given medication that was very expensive for a problem that just didn’t exist. The dog’s health declined so much that when we presented him at a 24hr emergency clinic, only hours after visiting Bellarine Vets Newcomb, he was critical after not eating or drinking for several days. It was discovered through proper diagnostics, at another vet clinic, that he had an abscess in his middle ear. After undergoing the correct treatment with antibiotics, wash outs, prednisone etc he has recovered but has lost partial hearing in that ear.
The vets and staff are so caring, supportive and understanding. Our girl Koda had the best care, sadly her lymphoma was to far advanced.
Lovely experience with all staff. In the past they have taken amazing care of my beautiful husky who unfortunately had to lose her hind leg. They absolutely loved seeing Mia come in and gave her all the love she could ever need.nThey were always there when I needed to call them for advice or reassurance
A caring and competent team of abinal health practitioners. Front line team and nurses are very helpful and professional too. I always feel a sense of peace having our fur children treated here. Thank you for giving us peace if mind, commitment and a genuine sense of love and care for your patients and their families.
