Brilliant pastry work!nnOrdered a coffee from the cafe upstairs which was delivered to us while waiting in line too - bonus!
This is one of the best bakeries in Brisbane! It uses high quality ingredients and it taste so yummy! You definitely have to try the sausage roll and a new product that is really good too is the creamy vegetarian puff! One of my favourite cupcake is the Stout+Ginger.
I was so sad when the Grange store closed but so happy that you reopened in Stafford and so I regularly make the trip from Kelvin Grove to pop into your store for some sweet goodies. The hardest thing is always choosing 4 sweet treats to share with my family, because everything always looks and tastes incredible. Absolutely loved everything I purchased yesterday but the strawberry and rhubarb tarts were a highlight. Thank you for what you and your team do, it’s very obvious you’re so passionate about what you do, and I also love that you choose the highest quality ingredients to make these amazing desserts and savouries. Thank you and I look forward to continuing to support your business into the future.
Got in before the crowds got too crazy and tried a selection of items.nnStandout items for me were the sausage roll big, meaty, and went really well with the accompanying sauce from my savoury selection, and the mango & macadamia tart weekly special; good depth and complexity to the various elements.nnI don't think I'll make it for another visit before they close shop in December so there will be a return in some form down the track.
As far as truly 5-star patisseries go, Bella & Tortie is among the top 3 in Brisbane on any given day. This small shop produces a wide range of expertly crafted sweets and savouries. I could write paragraphs about the delicious intricacies to be found but words really don’t do justice, you have to taste it.nnHighly recommend a savoury as well as a sweet and multiple visits as seemingly every little thing they produce is a joy unto itself. My gf dies for the peanut brownie and I’ll take just about anything tbh. Yum.
