I got my acrylics removed from them earlier this week, and the lady literally pulled/yanked them off my nail beds without any acetone, despite myself telling her that it was painful. My nails have been so painful for the whole week, that I can't even press on them very lightly, and they don't look like they will heal anytime soon. Never going back again.
I was very disappointed with my service. The actual nails themself are lovely. Great work. And I'm not saying that this isn't a good salon. It is, and you do the nails very very well. But the customer service was not it. I had booked for the full acrylic set with the regular nail polish. And I went in, chose my colour, all fine. But they used the gel nail polish which is 15 dollars extra without me knowing. like I'm sorry I didn't look at the label of the nail polish and see for myself. It's not like what I booked for is what I wanted. And you know, usually you should consult with your customer on that, because I'm pretty sure I should get a say in what I'm paying for. It was a sneaky way to get more money, because I clearly did book for it. And this isn't even the thing that upset me the most. When I went to pay, and was told it came to 60 bucks, I confronted the person on counter, saying that I did not book for the gel polish and was unaware it was used. I explained that I was overcharged for what I booked. This is what annoyed me- they brushed it off, saying it was what I asked for and blaming me. And I was also annoyed because I had to get the person I was there with to cover the cost and then get my Mum to transfer the money to them because I didn't have enough- I only had enough for what I asked for since I'm literally an unemployed teenager. So thanks to this mistake, my Mum has had to pay $60 and I feel extremely guilty. I know this has also come off as a bit aggro, but I would be more understanding and calm if I got an apology and charged for the correct price. I am usually not one to write neg reviews on places cuz I'm not a Karen, but this really annoyed me.Service: Acrylic nails
I have been to Bella Nails before and I loved my experience there. This time I went to get my nails done, I'm not a fan at all. She didn't seem like she wanted to do my nails and she seemed distracted. I showed her a photo of the design I wanted and that is thing only thing I like about my nails. I am so disappointed with the final product as they weren't coffin shaped and where put on wonky.Services: Nail extensions
I used to be a regular at this salon however changed when covid hit. I went in a week ago to get my nails tidied up before Christmas. I paid by Eftpos as usual and went on my way, unaware that I had just been OVERCHARGED. Still unaware of this, I had need of a repair not related to their work so went back a few days later. Again I happily paid by Eftpos and hurried off. Another OVERCHARGE. This most certainly isn't an "accident". Both amounts were random cents snuck onto the dollar amount I've tried to work out how this could possibly be "bank fees" multiple different ways with no success as yet. When you think how many customers go through this salon in a day let alone a week, this very soon adds up. In over 23 years of getting my nails done in more salons I can count, I have never experienced such "charges". I most certainly won't be back to be stolen from again. This is truly unethical business practise, no matter how good their product or service is and I refuse to support such business practices. would give no stars if i could, i was trying to get a refill on my acrylics. i was sat in the chair waiting for 20 minutes before they even touched my nails, she tipped my acrylics off me, wouldn’t listen to me about length or colour. I absolutely hate them then proceeded to try and charge me $75 for them. after a bit of arguing they said they could redo them in a couple days i told them i would never be coming back ever, don’t go here if you like nails at all.Service: Acrylic nails
I am agree with Suzanna Goodall's below review. Since the new owners of Bella Nails took over the business, their customer service and skills are not as good. Point 1 - after the lady did the basic cleaning of my foot, I asked her if they use razor for heel, she said she won't do it. I told her the previous staff will do it for me and she insisted she won't. After reading Suzanna's review, I understand why she won't because they are not experience with it. Point 2 - my hubby was standing and waiting for me near where my sandal was and the staff swept around where my hubby was standing without saying "excuse me" and my husband felt annoyed. Point 3 - After finished my pedicure, the staff did not bother to help me to arrange my sandal in front for me to wear. The previous owner's staff will do it for their customers. I have experiences using the rador without getting cut but I thought I'll paid to the salon to do it for me but I was not aware that they have changed owner and the staff has no experience. End up at home I still have to soak my feet and use the razor myself as my heel was still crack and dry after the pedicure. I will not go back to this salon. They just loose another customer and many more will know how bad they are if they do not improve their customers service and skills.
They did a good job with my pedicure good.. not amazing I think their prices are a bit steep too. Always trying to add $10 for something else. Good location near big w.
Very Disappointed!!! My partner and Friend went to the Salon today, although the service was alright to begin with, my partner asked one of the staff for the price and they told her $230 for both of them, at the end the same person told them if would cost $280. We never got a clear explanation of the cost as it is definitely not stated on their price list. The most expensive item on their price list is $55 and after demanding a receipt we were charged $75 twice for 2 different items and $30 for a pedicure followed by $100 for a pedicure. For me, this is false advertising as your price is not what we had to pay and even on the receipt it is not clearly stated exactly what the amounts were for. This is a total rip-off. When asking about the difference in price, we were told 3 different reasons why it was more expensive, non of them were stated on the receipt. The staff even said they would close my Partner and Friend inside. If anyone will be getting their nails done their they should definitely budget atleast an extra $50-100 above the stated prices on the price list. Definitely will not be using this Salon again!!!!Services: Pedicure
Since the new owners of Bell Nails took over the business a couple of months ago I am not goin back to this salon. They have in-experienced staff and on my last visit the male technician who told me he was a student still at school took a big chunk of skin off my heal while using the razor. It took a long time to heal as it was very deep. Until this new owner brought the business i was a regular customer for many years at this salon. Now trying to find another one to go to for good service.Services: Pedicure
